Starry Skies:

You guys!   I am back with my third card of the day!  I am addicted to inking backgrounds!!

I came across a beautiful inspiration photo and knew I had to play along!!!

I started with clear heat embossing a few stamped random stars, added my blending inks, and spritzed a few water splooshes.  I wanted to add more dimension so I found some acrylic paint, squeezed a bit in a dish and added water to it.  Then I gave that a spritz onto my card base.  I did this once more but with more paint added to the water for one extra step of dimension.

I then added my sentiment to some vellum and voila!  A card is born!  Unfortunately when I added my glue it mixed in with my ink therefore staining the vellum.  I added a thin, thin strip of black cardstock to cover it up (hoping it would look like twine) and added a bow!  Voila!  A card was saved!

Card Ingredients:

Stamps:  Reverse Confetti Shine From Within, My Favorite Things Hand Lettered Holiday

Die cuts:
My Favorite Things Blueprints 13My Favorite Things Blueprints 20
Frosting:  Wow Embossing Powder Clear Gloss, Ranger Paint Glacier WhiteStampin' Up! inks, Stampin' Up! cardstock

I would like enter my card into the following challenges:
