The Paper Players 355:

Hi all!  Happy Sunday to you!

This week at The Paper Players, Laurie/Joanne are hosting our Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge:

(I chose die cuts, enamel dots, and circles.)

I wanted something bright and happy.  So I went through my inks and picked out some fun colours.  I first ink blended, then water splooshed, and lastly made cute little circles and placed them on my cardstock.

Die cuts: Reverse Confetti Circles 'n Scallops, Reverse Confetti Here We Go, Simon Says Stamp Painted Thanks
Frosting:  Reverse Confetti Premier Polar White cardstock, Stampin' Up! inks, Stampin' Up! cardstock

Thank You Arrows:

Hi all!  Today I am featured in the Reverse Confetti newsletter. You can sign up here to receive exclusive content and product updates!

I love home decor, home staging, and home renovating (almost as much as card creating!) so when I saw these cute little rustic arrows, I of course Pinned them right away!  If I only I knew how to work with wood!

I can however work with paper and was inspired by these sweet arrows stained in beautiful colors (that teal/aqua!).

I "stained" wood pattern paper (ok, inked), and voila, a card is created!

I would also like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Good Wednesday morning - it's hump day!!!  Just a couple of more days until the weekend!

Another great thing about today is...
that it's also my turn to show you what I did with the July Reverse Confetti's Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT).

I am a sketch girl.  I LOVE sketches.  They are my favourite inspiration to follow.

I chose to showcase Reverse Confetti's Berry Sweet stamp set (with coordinating Confetti Cuts).  Let's be honest, it really just doesn't get more *sweet* than these yummy little strawberries!

As I said previously, I am bringing back paper piecing (I say that like I rule the crafting world LOL).  Maybe if I say it enough others will also grab their scissors and start fussy cutting =)
Even though it's SO 2014, I think paper piecing is ADORABLE.

Case and point, these strawberries =)

Be sure to come play along with this FABulous sketch.  If you are picked as the 'Fetti Fave, you will receive a $20 gift certificate (uhm, yes please!) to use at Reverse Confetti!

The Paper Players 354:

Good morning all!  Happy Sunday to you!  It feels like forever and day since I have been in the craft room as I have been busy working on our living room re-do. I have been spray painting and painting my butt off!!

This week at The Paper Players, Jaydee is hosting our Sketch Challenge:

I wanted to create a card that was on the "fresh" side, hence the green and lime colours.  I went out of my comfort zone and added a pop of colour (normally I would have added more green) and grabbed some teal.

Stamps:  My Favorite Things Geometric Greenery, My Favorite Things Label Maker Sentiments
Die cuts: My Favorite Things Geometric Greenery, My Favorite Things Label TapeMy Favorite Things Vertical Stitched Strips
Frosting:  Wow Embossing Powder White, Reverse Confetti Premier Polar White cardstock, Stampin' Up! inks

We can't wait to see what you create!

Coconut Wishes:

Hi all!  I hope the weekend has been well to you.  It feels like such a short weekend - is it Friday yet??!??

I tell you, I have so many fantastic new goodies to play with I bring out this Reverse Confetti Mahalo set again.  I just can't stop creating with it!  I love it THAT much!  Today I paired it with a Heart Stencil.

I created my two tone effect by stamping 3/4 in Lagoon ink and the other 1/4 in Parakeet ink.  No fancy technique, just easy quick results.  =)

I created my card for the following challenges:
