April RC SFYTT:

Happy Monday. It was another icky cold weekend. The Weather Network says this has been our coldest spring in over 100 years. I believe it.

Since it is the 16th of the month, it is my turn to show you what I came up with with our Reverse Confetti's Sketch For You To Try.

Because it is so dreary outside I wanted to create a cheerful bright card. I grabbed one of my favourite stamp sets, In A Jam, and went to work.

This card was really quite simple to make and super duper cute =)

I added some stitching and a sweet twine bow to the jam jar for a little interest.

Have a great day all! Cheers!

MM 286:

Good morning!

This week at Merry Monday, Susan would like us to add our favourite Christmas verse to our Christmas cards:

I dusted off an old, old stamp set from KaiserCraft that I have had for years. It is a rather flimsy set so I couldn't stamp a crisp image but even ancient stamps need love too =)

"Wishing you peace on earth, love in your hearts, joy in all your days"

 Stamps: KaiserCraft Christmas Sentiments (retired)
Die cuts: My Favorite Things Blueprints 2 and 13, My Favorite Things Stitched Basic Edges, My Favorite Things Joy, Reverse Confetti Holly, My Favorite Things Abstract Heart
Extras: Reverse Confetti Midnight Ink

MM 285:

Howdy howdy!

This week at Merry Monday, Nina would like us to add ribbon to our Christmas cards:

Easy peasy!

I created a bit of non traditional Christmas card using geometric leaves. To keep in the spirit of Christmas I chose greens and red with gold and black.

Stamps: My Favorite Things Geometric Greenery, My Favorite Things Hand Lettered Holiday (retired), Papertrey Ink Spruce and Sprigs
Die cuts: Papertrey Ink Spruce and Sprigs,
Extras: Stampin' Up! inks, Ranger Embossing powder white

April REVERSE CONFETTI Blog Hop:

Good morning all - it's the eighth of the month, which means it's Reverse Confetti's APRIL blog hop!

Today we are celebrating Moms, Dads and Grads!

I wanted to go a little outside the box so I created a card not necessarily for Mother's Day, but a card you could give any mom at any time =)

I used basically used the whole Kitchen Love set for this card and did a LOT of masking.

Once everything was stamped and just "so", I coloured it all in with Prismacolor pencils.

Lastly I added a fun little tag with some stitching.

Merry Monday 284:

Here we are another Monday. Happy April to you. I am looking so forward to some warmer weather (hopefully next week) to melt all this snow we still have.

This week at Merry Monday, Marcia would like us to use a red and white on our Christmas cards:

I finally inked up my Neat and Tangled sentiment, added a single cocoa cup and basically called it done!

Lastly, I added some stitching for a bit of interest.

Stamps: Neat and Tangled Hello Winter
Die cuts: My Favorite Things Hot Cocoa Cups, Reverse Confetti North Pole Wishes
Extras: Reverse Confetti Midnight Ink

Rain or shine:

It's another cold and wintery spring day here but we had a nice Easter weekend. I spent a lot of time in the craft room cleaning, organizing, and crafting.

Today I am sharing this "Sealiously" sweet card, it was an all day project but I am super happy with how these little guys turned out.

I masked the sunshine rays with masking tape and created a sunshiny ombre look. It was so easy and fun!

Lastly I added some felt white fluffy clouds and a bit of while gel pen.

I have created this card for the following challenges:

(I was inspired by Maria's magical cloudy creation!)

Happy Easter!
