Coral and Aqua:

Today I was able to get some crafting in and am sharing this ink smooshing technique again with you. I can't help it, it is my new favourite technique! I created this card for a good friend of mine who has been taking care of me while I have been recovering from hip surgery.

I created the background by smooshing Coral and RC Aqua inks. Next I added a subtle layer using vellum cut with Woodgrain Confetti Cut.

Lastly I added leaves from (my favourite) Fall Foliage set and this beautiful sentiment from Cotton & Thistles set.

I have created this card for the following challenge:

I hope you enjoy your weekend!

RC SYS October:

Hi all!

I have been a bit stronger every day since having my hip replacement. Unfortunately since it was a hip reconstruction and a hip replacement, it has taken longer to heal.  I continually go to physio, work on my strengthening stretches, but am still restricted to one crutch when I walk, and two if I am tired. Life has changed a lot for me since my surgery almost 12 weeks ago. In just the last week I feel quit a bit better. Baby steps.

This month at Reverse Confetti we are celebrating Thanksgiving and Friendship.

I started by creating the background of my card by using the Triangles Confetti Cut panel and smooshing Coral, Magenta, Wine, and Blueberry inks. For the Woodgrain panel I blended Coral and Magenta ink and gave it a quick water spritz.

Lastly I added a Cotton and Thistles bouquet and added vellum vase. I love how this card came together!

We can't wait to see what YOU come up with. Grab your goodies and start crafting =)

RC Happy Fall-idays Day 3:

Happy Fallidays everyone!

Today Reverse Confetti is celebrating DAY 3 of our 3 day blog hop and 15% off sale!!!

Today I decided to make Christmas treat bags that hold gift cards.

I gold embossed my background pattern using the Pattern Builder and created the holder using the Bags & Tags Creator.

I added gold embossed Sentimental Christmas and a gold Dashed Line Tag. I then punched a whole in the bag for the ribbon, bells, and tags to attach too.

I inked around the Holly Christmas Cuts with Lime ink.
Lastly I added some gift cards into the gift packs. How adorable!!

I created my background using Pattern Block in Sand ink on Sand card stock. I love how it created a subtle background.
