Good morning all - it's the eighth of the month, which means it's Reverse Confetti's OCTOBER creative blog hop!  

Today we are celebrating anything goes!

I had the flu this weekend but still managed to create this sweet little hippo card. I was pretty impressed with myself LOL

When thinking of a layout for my card, (and knowing I want to do a blended shape), I always start with the shape and colours first. In this case Patterned Hearts Confetti Cuts and Grape Soda and Wine inks.

Next I figure out where I want to place the shape on my card and then I did a bit more ink blending in Grape Soda on the background paper with a few spritzes of Grape Soda ink too. Once that is all dry, I add my sentiment, in this case, Sentimentally Yours.

Lastly I added this happy hippo from Hippo Pool Party (with coordinating Confetti Cuts.
