Merry Monday 277:

Good morning. This weekend I spent packing up the craft room as I felt it might be an easier transition for painting, taking away some really big furniture and replacing it. It is really slow going, I just have too much stuff =)

This week at Merry Monday, I would like to use stencils on your Christmas card:

I knew I wanted to use green and gold on this card, so I grabbed my stencil and created a whole lotta green. Once I had it place I decided it was just TOO much, so I cut it down, added white, and the positive heart shape from last week's card.

Lastly I inlayed a metallic gold sentiment.

February REVERSE CONFETTI Blog Hop:

Good morning all - it's the eighth of the month, which means it's Reverse Confetti's FEBRUARY blog hop!

Is anyone else amazed at how quickly the months are going by? Like we are basically in the middle of February already - how did that happen?

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, Reverse Confetti is in full LOVE swing.

Since I am re-doing my craftroom (new paint and furniture), I decided to make a "custom" art piece for my new room. That's right, sometimes we have to love (is in the air) ourselves.

There wasn't anything particularly difficult about my framed art but it was rather time consuming. But as most of us crafters know, patience is a virtue =)

I started with a white 8 x 8 shadow box, filled with lots of pretty Forever My Love paper hearts using XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts.

The mint and coral colours together are SWOON-worthy!

Merry Monday 276:

Happy post Super Bowl! But really, how adorable is Justin Timberlake?

I spent the weekend making crafty projects, painting and refreshing rooms, and of course watching the Super Bowl.

Next on my list of projects is tackling the craftroom.  I have new furniture and new wall paint. It's going to look so pretty (hopefully)! Now I just need some (time) to get it all together!

This week at Merry Monday, Colleen would like us to use the following photo inspiration:

Even though the inspiration photo is more on the vintage side, I decided to make it a bit more modern on my card.  Plus I don't have any windows or candles, so that made my decision pretty easy :)

Peach Feather:

Things are finally back to normal since 'the flu'. I have been doing a lot of extra projects around the house and was also able to get back into the craftroom today. YEAH!

I also recently dusted off my sewing machine and am enjoying incorporating stitching back into some projects.

My husband gifted me a few Reverse Confetti goodies for Christmas so I was excited to dig in and created this card.

I created this card for the following challenge:

Thanks for all the support over the past 10 years! I can't believe I started this blog adventure in 2008!
