Take Care:

Hi all!!  It is stormy out today which makes it the perfect weather to be crafting.

I am stepping away from Christmas (just for a quick moment) but don't be too worried about me, I have plenty more Christmas cards to make =)

I started with Clearly Besotted Fresh Flowers embossed with Stampendous! White embossing powder on kraft paper.  I coloured it in with some Copics.  The sentiment is from Waltzing Mouse Say It Loud, which I stamp on vellum and also embossed.  Lastly I added American Crafts twine and Doodlebug enamel dots.  (I can not for the life of me remember which pad of paper I took the DP from).

Be Jolly:

Hi all!  It's been a crazy week with the Holiday Season coming up quickly.  But I like the hustle and bustle!!  I have my life planned from now until December 19, after that I can relax and really enjoy Christmas.

I started with Paper Smooches Cool Dudes and gave him a fun little polka dot scarf and hat in Doodlebug Santa Express paper (I used the Icon Die to cut him out perfectly).  His little pom pom is a cotton ball from my bathroom that I cut down and shaped into a ball LOL.  I also stamped a Paper Smooches sentiment in Onyx Black VersaFine, added some fun Doodlebug and MME enamel dots, and a Reverse Confetti Tag Me Confetti Cut.

Let It Snow Sequins:

Hello all!

I usually don't use purple so I decided to challenge myself and well... use purple!

I started with a Reverse Confetti Beautiful Banner stamp and My Favorite Things Snowflake Splendor sentiment in Onyx Black VersaFine.  I also used the MFT Die-Namics LLD Notepadfilled it with Darice and Lawn Fawn snowflake sequins, and added some vellum for the window.   Lastly I added some American Crafts twine and Little Yellow Bicycle stick pins (coloured with Blue Violet Copic).

Sparkle and Shine Greetings:

I am on a roll today!!

Watching Christmas movies and making Christmas cards - best day ever!!!

My card is rather simple, I started with American Crafts POW! Cricket and Jade glitter paper and created a striped pattern.  It's a great sparkly paper to work with and doesn't get glitter everywhere, it's also rather thin so it was very easy to layer.  I embossed a Paper Smooches Joyful Greetings sentiment with Stampendous! White embossing powder on a Reverse Confetti Tag Me Confetti Cut.  I then finished it all off with some Doodlebug and MME enamel dots.

Good morning all!  What a lovely day to spend inside. Winter is here to stay but the sun is shining into my craftroom.  Perfect place to view the sunshine =)

I received a whole schwack load of crafting goodies in the mail a few days ago and I have been itching to create.

I created my tag with Reverse Confetti Tag Me Confetti Cut and Paper Smooches Christmas Words 2 Wise Dies.  I added some Doodlebug Santa Express paper with a Reverse Confetti Double Edge Scallop Border Confetti Cut in gold.  I finished off the card with some Celebrate It ribbon and American Crafts twine.

Merry Monday 134:

Good morning all!

This week at Merry Monday, Wendy has chosen the theme of creating a card with ornaments in silver/grey and blue.

I was rather inspired by the photo above so I decided to use the same rich royal blue in my card.

I started off by stamping Little Yellow Bicycle Making Merry (half in Onyx Black VersaFine and the other embossed with Stampendous! Silver embossing powder).  I added some Swirl Ornaments by Memory Box viola!!  The ornaments themselves were rather tedious to put together, but all in all it was a rather simple card to arrange.

2014 Christmas Card Count = 53

11.09.14:

Good morning all!  I hope you have been enjoying your weekend so far!  Winter has definitely settled into mid-Canada, this morning it was -21C ( -5.8F) with the windchill.  But I like winter, so I am not complaining, plus (in my opinion) you just can't have Christmas without winter =)

I had fun creating this card;  I started with Reverse Confetti Doin' The Wave confetti cut and created the background with lots of fun colours.  I then embossed Inkadinkado Spirit of Christmas (discontinued) sentiment with Stampendous! White embossing powder on vellum.  I finished it off with a row of stitching and some Lawn Fawn Peace Joy Love sequins (which also might be discontinued?)

2014 Christmas Card Count = 52

11.05.14:

Hi all!  I hope you have been enjoying your week so far!  I have been rather under the weather (very mildly but enough to feel real icky all week).

I did however want to play along with Reverse Confetti's Sketch For You to Try as I haven't participated in a while.  I have been mainly been making Christmas cards and I don't have any Reverse Confetti Christmas stamps to play along.  I then thought that the "Let's Celebrate" stamp could certainly work - so off I went...  No worries though - my next order will definitely contain some Christmasy stamps =)

Basically everything you see below is from Reverse Confetti and I paired this masculine(ish) card with MME Lost & Found Christmas (Special Edition) and Graphic 45's 12 Days of Christmas papers, and added Freckled FawnDoodlebug and Studio Calico enamel dots.  The sentiment is in Onyx Black VersaFine and I added a row of stitching.

BTW:  I used the oranges from the Fresh 'n Fruity cuts for my vellum circles (if you're wondering where they come in to play)  ;)

Merry Monday 133:

Good morning all!

This week at Merry Monday, Nina has chosen the theme of creating a rustic card, using creams, tans, and browns.

Here is my card (I will give details later, I have been under the weather - still!)

10.30.14:

Hi all!  I thought I would hop into the craft room and try to make another Christmas card this week.  I am feeling the time crunch already (yes, I do know Christmas is still two months away)   =)

I don't know about you all, but I have been waiting for Halloween to get out of the way *gasp - that's right, I don't like Halloween* as I can't wait to go craft shopping for all the new releases on November 1st (and Reverse Confetti on November 8th)!

I am always looking for flat Christmas tree ornaments to use on cards, so I was pleasantly surprised to find some at Canadian Tire (Christmas goodies are slowly being placed on shelves!!).  They have such a fun impact on a card, plus they aren't bulky and they are cheap!  A pack of 25 sparkly snowflakes costs $5.

I added some American Crafts twine and Celebrate It! jingle bells and used Crate Paper Bundled Up pattern paper and American Crafts POW! Cricket glitter paper.  I finished it all up with a Reverse Confetti Beautiful Banner Confetti Cut, embossed Reverse Confetti Beautiful Banner stamp set, and a bit of stitching.

And yes, there is so much glitter that you almost want to go a bit cross-eyed.  But isn't that what Christmas is about ;)

2014 Christmas Card Count = 49

Have a super fantastic Halloween and an even better weekend - cheers all!
