Merry Monday 152:

Secound post of the day (what?!?!) - go here for The Challenge post.

Hi all!  Happy Monday to you!  Another week has gone by and we almost are in April!!  Spring weather is starting to visit and I couldn't be happier =)

This week at Merry Monday, Kristie has chosen the theme of using LIME, TURQUOISE, and WHITE on your Christmas card:

Now if you know me, I would be all over such a challenge.  And I was (and I am!).  LOVE me some non-traditional Christmas colours.

I started with My Favorite Things Herringbone Brick stencil sponged with Simon Says Stamp Audrey Blue ink.  I used Reverse Confetti's Tag Me and Circle 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts with Paper Smooches Christmas Words 2 wise die.  I finished it all off with some Celebrate It ribbon and Studio Calico Green and MME Teal enamel dots.

Sweet YUMMY Thanks:

Good morning all!!  What a fantastic weekend I had - relax and craft - two of my favourite things!!!

I was lucky enough to win over at The Challenge and now I get to be the guest designer this week!!!

It's The Challenge's One Year Anniversary celebration and Sugar Pea Designs is sponsoring this Anything Goes challenge.  Unfortunately I don't own any Sugar Pea goodies, but now I must go buy some - absolute adorableness!!!!!!

I do have Spring fever and am itching for nice weather - this inspired my card today.  I started with Reverse Confetti's Let's ChillDouble Edge Scallop Border, and Tag Me Confetti Cuts.  I also used MFT's Die-namic Notepad die.  The delicious paper is from Bo Bunny's Lemonade Stand collection.  The sentiment is pieced together from RC's Sweet Thing and Petals 'n Posies (stamped in Versafine Onyx Black).  I finished it all off with American Crafts twine and some stitching.

Enjoy your week my friends - thanks for the visiting and cheers to you all!!!!

Dressed for Success:

Happy Wednesday Thursday all!  Between being sick and being busy, I just haven't been "around" much - please forgive me!!!!  (Oh dear me, it's not Wednesday - see - told you I'm all mixed up!)

Tonight I made time to craft - so that always makes me feel better =)

I used *my* dress pattern (a couple of years ago I drew a dress on heavy cardstock and kept it for a pattern) with Bo Bunny's Lemonade Stand paper and matched it up with Lily Bee Sweet Shoppe paper.  The die is from Avery Elle's Simply Said: Happy Elle-ments with a So Happy sentiment stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  I finished it all off with American Crafts twine and Lawn Fawn sequins.

Well that is it for me!  My plan this weekend is crafting, crafting, and MORE crafting.  It's good for the heart, soul, and spirit =)  Thanks for the visit and cheers to you all!

Merry Monday 151:

Hi all!  Happy Monday to you!  It has been a whirlwind of a week.  Busy, busy, busy!  I didn't get to spend any time in the craftroom but we did, however, get buried in a lot of snow.  I suppose that is Spring for you - it's sneaky like that.  And really, where has March gone??  April is next week - crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week at Merry Monday, Kathy has chosen the theme of using a TREE on your Christmas card:

I thought I would get crafty and bring out my watercolours, which is how I created my sky.  After it dried, I splattered it with more watercolours to make snow (and stars?).  I used my Spellbinders Classic Oval Nestie to frame it and added Reverse Confetti Branch Out Confetti Cuts.  I finished it all off with a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Peace on Earth collection (stamped in Versafine Onyx Black).

Merry Monday 150:

Hi all!  Happy Monday to you - I hope you had a super fantastic weekend.  Can you believe it is mid-March already??  Where has the time gone??!?

This week at Merry Monday, Karren has chosen the theme of using a GIFT on your Christmas card:

Put on your sunglasses folks, it's about to get bright all up in here!!!

I started with some fun bright gift paper from Doodlebug's Santa Express collection.  I then added Reverse Confetti's Big Chevron Pretty Panel Confetti Cut. I turned the Tag Me banner into a tag by cutting off one end and adding a hole (from Tag Me as well).  I thought I was very clever =)

The sentiment is from RC's Tinsel 'N Trim stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  And lastly I added American Crafts twine and MME Teal enamel dots.

RC You're So Cool:

Good morning all!  I hope you weekend has been filled with sunshine and fresh air =)

Today I am sharing a card that I had so much fun making!!  Fun colours and popsicles??  I'm in!

I started with Reverse Confetti's Let's Chill and Tag Me Confetti Cuts.  The sentiment is also from RC's Let's Chill stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.

The paper is from Bo Bunny's Lemonade Stand which I bought yesterday as I knew it would go perfect with RC's popsicle die cuts and sentiments.  Lastly I added some stitching and Freckled Fawn Dew Drops.

(And yes, I am *mildly* obsessed with Reverse Confetti products.  It's so obvious)

I created this card for the following challenge:

RC Birds of a Feather:

Well I am two for two in the new craftroom.  I must say I like the new room, but I need more light and more counter space - then it will be "up to snuff."

I started with some of my favourite products from Reverse Confetti including Paper Crane which I fussy cut and stamped in Versafine Onyx Black. The papers are little bits from my bit drawer (yeah me!) and the sentiment is also from RC's Paper Crane collection.  The back panel is paper from MME Wood.  I was going to add some embellishments but decided in the end that it didn't need any.

I created this card for the following challenges:

Fusion - I used both!

Little Red Wagon - birds of a feather

That's it for me today - enjoy your weekend!  I hope Spring is slowly (or quickly) making it's way to you!!

RC Coffee and Friends:

Phew!  I was getting a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to create in my new craftroom - I felt my mojo/jojo was left in my old craftroom!!  It took three days to create the card I am sharing with you. three. days.  But it did finally come together so there is still hope!  Good vibes are now in the new craftroom!!

Everything you see below are products from Reverse Confetti including Tag Me and Diagonal Strip Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts.  The sentiment and coffee cup are from RC's Be A Barista set stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  I finished it all off with stitching, American Crafts twine, Doodlebug Lily White sprinkles, and a Studio Calico clothespin.

Well my friends, that is it for me today.  Hopefully there will be many more creative moments in my new craftroom.  Cheers all!!

Merry Monday 148:

Hi all!  Happy March to you! Sorry I haven't been around much because I got this "super fantastic" idea to switch my craftroom and guest bedroom with each other.

Needless to say, here is my "new" craftroom right now.  As you can see, there isn't much crafting going on!  All the bedroom furniture is out (in the hallway) and now all the craftroom furniture has to come in.  What a gong show!!! Leave it to me to give myself extra work. all. the. time.  Hopefully I can finish up this week and get some crafting time in!

With that being said this week at Merry Monday, I have chosen the theme of using RED AND GREEN on your Christmas card:

I am not traditional.  Never have, probably never will be =)  I have always prided myself of being different and unique and the carries into crafting as well!  So to challenge myself I chose red and green.

Laughably though, my photo turned out a smidge on the pink side (pink and green - ooohhh, that IS pretty), but really it's cherry red - I promise!!

Everything you see below are products from Reverse Confetti including Tag MeCircle 'n Scallops and Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts.  The sentiment is also from RC's Seasonal Sentiments stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  I finished it all off with American Crafts twine and a Studio Calico clothespin.  (sorry, some of the product list is not complete as RC's website was done at the time of this post).  The paper is from Doodlebug's Santa Express collection.

RC Deepest Sympathy:

Hello all!  Another chilly day out there, I woke up this morning and it was a balmy -44C (-44F).  Now I know what you are thinking, do people actually live in that kind of weather/climate??  The answer is yes, crazy people do ;)

But the perfect day to spend indoors right??

So today I started with some of my favourite products from Reverse Confetti including Tag Me and Love Blooms Confetti Cuts.  The blooms are stamped in Hero Arts Pastel Peach and Pastel Green and the leaves are in Memento's Cottage Ivy.  The sentiment is from Reverse Confetti's In A Big Way stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  I created some texture with Simon Says Stamp Chevron Pattern stencil with Ranger Texture paste.  I finished it all off with American Crafts twine and Doodlebug Lily White sprinkles.

I created this card for the following challenges:

Well I think I will go grab a bite to eat and then do some more crafting.  The perfect way to end the weekend, right?!?
