Coconut Wishes:

Hi all!  I hope the weekend has been well to you.  It feels like such a short weekend - is it Friday yet??!??

I tell you, I have so many fantastic new goodies to play with I bring out this Reverse Confetti Mahalo set again.  I just can't stop creating with it!  I love it THAT much!  Today I paired it with a Heart Stencil.

I created my two tone effect by stamping 3/4 in Lagoon ink and the other 1/4 in Parakeet ink.  No fancy technique, just easy quick results.  =)

I created my card for the following challenges:

The Paper Players 353:

Good morning all!  Happy Sunday to you!  It is hot, hot, hot outside.  As usual, I am in the comforts of the air conditioning.  Seriously, I do not like to be in the sun - too hot for me!

This week at The Paper Players, Claire's CAS Challenge is Summer fun in the Water:

I thought this was the perfect chance for me to make a shaker card with beads/sequins as water (it's been in my head for awhile).

I coloured this little guy with Zig markers but this time I used a rather dry water brush to blend him out.  That face!!  Adorable lil fella!!

Brewin' Up:

Hi all!  Happy Friday Eve!

With it being so hot outside I wanted to make something summery.  And really, you can't go wrong with coffee.  So summer coffee it is!  With brightly coloured Reverse Confetti flowers, bows, and green felt - YUMMMMMY!!!

Be Bright:

Happy Sunday - I hope you have been enjoying your weekend. This one has gone exceptionally fast and tomorrow is Monday - sheesh!

I have said it before and I will say it again this was a simple and straightforward card to make.  I let this FABULOUS patterned paper do all the talking!!  The gold foiling does it for me.  Like, LOVE it!  Half this stuff was purchased at my local Michaels.

I also used a little gold clothespin that I thought went well with my gold theme.

Frosting: Craft Smith Fandango paper, Stampin' Up! twine, Recollections clothespin

Reverse Confetti July Hop:

Welcome to Reverse Confetti's new release blog hop!

Everything that we have been showcasing are now available in store!

That's 16 new ink colours, 7 new stamp sets, 11 new Confetti Cuts dies, 1 new 6 x 6 paper pad, and some seriously amazing Premier Polar White cardstock!!!!!!!!!!!

I just knew I had to ink up the Mahalo stamp set again, as it is my favourite release this month (if I had to pick just one!).

I started with Reverse Confetti Rose cardstock and added a Pierced Round Top Layer in Under the Umbrella pattern paper.  Next I added a sentiment from Banner in Bloom (LOVE that font!).  I felt my card needed a bit more "celebration" so I added a sweet Heart Banner.

Next I stamped the yummy coconut drinks added pretty Magenta straws and paper pieced umbrellas.  Paper piecing is my *new* favourite technique, I am bringing it back y'all!!
