Merry Monday 254:
Happy Monday all! I hope the weekend was good to you! I am SO ready to get my nose packing gauze removed tomorrow. I cannot wait!!!!!!
This week at Merry Monday, Lori would like us to create a MOOSE on our Christmas card. Please also note that this is our last challenge for the summer, although you should check out our blog as we have a fun little 'side' challenge going on.
For this challenge I knew I wanted to go with a traditional ceramic moose mug theme. It's funny what the brain can come up with =)
I heat embossed my moose, coloured them with Zig markers, and then die cut my little cups out. With the mugs being so soft coloured, I didn't want my background to be overpowering, so I found some soft watercolour pattern paper.
After my card was all put together I realized there wasn't too much "Christmas" about my card. Oh well - Christmas does not always have to been green and red =)
Stamps: SugarPea Designs Merry Christmoose
Die cuts: My Favorite Things Hot Cocoa Cups, My Favorite Things Blueprints 21, My Favorite Things Blueprints 13
Frosting: Wow Embossing Powder White, Tim Holtz Waterbrush, Canson XL Watercolor paper, Tsukineko Versafine Onyx Black, Zig Clean Color Real Brushes
As always, do not forget to check out the rest of my teamies' fantastic creations at Merry Monday and come play along too!!!
