Merry Monday 213:
Happy Monday all! I had to schedule this post as right now we are in the air flying to Toronto - squuuuueeeeeeeeee! My husband got us tickets to two Toronto Blue Jays baseball games and we are SO excited to see our favourite team!! Needless to say the morning started a wee bit early at 2AM, but isn't that what flying is all about =)
This week at Merry Monday, Debbie would like us to create a Christmas card using the INSPIRATION photo below:
I used red and white and also added some sequins to "glam" my card up a bit just like this glamorous inspiration photo!
I have vowed to stay away from mainly white cards. I have taken, oh a billion photos of this card. It has been so cloudy this week that I have given up on white altogether. You can't even see the texture I used on the white background - grrrrr!! And my photo is so fuzzy I just want to SCREAM!
On a more interesting note, the sweater die and sentiment are being used for the first time by me. I have also just realized that both have been discontinued. Seriously, how long have had these without using them :S
Card Ingredients:
Stamps: My Favorite Things Cozy Greetings (retired), Paper Smooches Christmas Sampler
Die cuts: My Favorite Things Comfy Sweater (retired), My Favorite Things Blueprints 13, My Favorite Things Blueprints 20
Frosting: Tsukineko Versafine Onyx Black
You know the drill...
As always, do not forget to check out the rest of my teamies' fantastic creations at Merry Monday and come play along too!!!
