Merry Monday 194:

Good morning all!  I hope you enjoyed your weekend.  I spent the weekend cleaning and crafting.  One is my favourite thing to do, and the other, not so much =)

Here are some updated photos of Saffron, only FIVE more days until we get to bring her home!  Don't you just love that bottom right photo - I love that smile.  We are SO excited!

This week at Merry Monday, Lori would like to see a TROPICAL theme on our Christmas cards:

This was a real struggle for me.  I looked for tropical birds, seashells, palm trees... anything I could throw a Santa hat onto.  Nope.  Nothing.  I also looked for tropical papers.  Nope.  Nothing there either.  I finally came up with this.  A hibiscus ornament.  Done.  Phew - it only took all day to create, but I did it nonetheless!!

I built my layers with My Favorite Things Blueprints (20)(13), and the hibiscus flower and die cut are from My Favorite Things Tropical Sensations (retired). The sentiment is computer generated as I needed SOME kind of tropical saying =)
