10.30.14:

Hi all!  I thought I would hop into the craft room and try to make another Christmas card this week.  I am feeling the time crunch already (yes, I do know Christmas is still two months away)   =)

I don't know about you all, but I have been waiting for Halloween to get out of the way *gasp - that's right, I don't like Halloween* as I can't wait to go craft shopping for all the new releases on November 1st (and Reverse Confetti on November 8th)!

I am always looking for flat Christmas tree ornaments to use on cards, so I was pleasantly surprised to find some at Canadian Tire (Christmas goodies are slowly being placed on shelves!!).  They have such a fun impact on a card, plus they aren't bulky and they are cheap!  A pack of 25 sparkly snowflakes costs $5.

I added some American Crafts twine and Celebrate It! jingle bells and used Crate Paper Bundled Up pattern paper and American Crafts POW! Cricket glitter paper.  I finished it all up with a Reverse Confetti Beautiful Banner Confetti Cut, embossed Reverse Confetti Beautiful Banner stamp set, and a bit of stitching.

And yes, there is so much glitter that you almost want to go a bit cross-eyed.  But isn't that what Christmas is about ;)

2014 Christmas Card Count = 49

I created this card for the following challenge:
Freshly Made Sketches

Have a super fantastic Halloween and an even better weekend - cheers all!

This is just full of sparkly goodness! Nothing better than a sparkly snowflake, unless maybe it's some fun jingle bells! Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
