04.18.14:

Our Easter plans have been delayed as a big Spring storm has moved in.  It started with freezing rain and now the snow is going across the sky horizontal :S

So it seemed like a good idea to get into the craftroom!

I would like to say that I threw this card together rather quickly, but this is actually my secound attempt of it.  The first one had no personality and was just plain *bla* ...  Into the garbage it went.

I made this card for my boss who celebrates his Name Day on Tuesday.  Yes I said "his" - I know he won't mind a smidge bit of pink ;)

I inked up my feather stamp (because I love it so!) and used acetate to keep in the sequins (more of my favourites!!)

Card Ingredients:
Stamps:  Inkadinkado Feather
Inks:  Memento Bamboo Leaves, Gray Flannel, ColorBox Razzberry
Papers:  MME Dilly Dally, LilyBee
Cardstock:  DCWV, Bazzill
Bits/Bobs: Lawn Fawn sequins, Studio Calico sequins, American Crafts jute, LilyBee sentiment sticker, Celebrate It button, acetate
Tools: Oval Nestie

I created this card for the following challenges:
Seize the Sketch
Color Throwdown
 Curtain Call

Happy Easter to all!  Stay safe out there.

Thrown together, eh? Well it's awesome! Love the bow, LOVE that woodgrain, love the sequins, love everything! So glad you're playing along with us at Seize the Sketch!

Lovely card, and I've never heard of a 'name day'. Sounds far better than birthdays which just add another number to your age. I may have to adopt that now as I'm not looking forward to this year's b'day number so it's a good time to start!

That feather stamp is lovely too.
Fab card.
