Summertime:
Good morning all. Hmmmmm... how can it be Monday again (grumble, grumble)...
This week StampFairy is sponsoring Sketch N Stash's sketch challenge with the option of summertime fun:
I used some of my new papers appropriately called Summer Splash. While colouring Lenny, Summertime (Doin' Time) by Sublime got into my head.:
Card Ingredients: StampFairy digi, MME papers, Bazzill and Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor pencils, Gelly Roll white pen, random buttons, Craftsmart Teal ink. Tools: mineral spirits and blending stumps, Square Nestie, make-up sponge for sky.
I made this card for the following challenges: Joanna Sheen - masculine, Designed to Color - summertime, Charisma Cardz - digis, Simon Says - transport (rubber dingies count, right?), Top Tip Tuesday - masculine.
TOP TIP TUESDAY TIP: You don't need anything fancy to create a sky background. I use an old triangle make-up sponge and any colour of blue ink pad (I use a quick dry teal). Keep the make-up sponge in a plastic bag and you can reuse it for about three sky backgrounds. To re-ink, I press on the ink pad once and then I am good to go for another three times. Cloud templates are easily found on the internet. Print, cut, and ink! Easy peasy!
Have a wonderful Monday! Cheers.
