LV 9: Candy Girl

I just made it in time!!!! Shame on me for waiting so long *tsk tsk*. Candy Shoppe Designs has a bi-weekly challenge that I just squeaked into entering.

This challenge is a Strip Tease Challenge.
Rules are as follows:

1. use strips of something
2. use something gold
3. use the following color palette (cream must be the main color):

4. optional - use this sketch for inspiration:

And my version (taken at the Mirage hotel in Las Vegas):

And because I work best with my close up lens:

My twine I finally found!!

My first attempt at distressing paper, I actually have a Making Memories distressor I bought years ago - guess that will do the trick LOL:

Ingredients:
the cream 12 x 12 paper is probably the oldest piece of paper I own - bought it years ago, it came in a paper pad but I have no idea who makes it :S; Prima and K&Co paper; Recollections cardstock; K&Co gold border; George and Basic Shapes Cricut cartridge; Lucida font; Making Memories brads.

Happy Sunday - hope you all are enjoying the weekend. See you tomorrow!

It's wonderful how you incorporate your vacation pics in your card challenge entries. Another fabulous work of art. I really like the heart in the centre of the flower. And the photos you take of your creations, are fantastic. You are remarkably multi-talented.

wow this is stunning, just how I wish my scrap book pages would turn out.

Wish I had your talent for photography too, but not much chance of that with my point and click digi camera!
