The Paper Players 373:

Good Sunday morning to you!  Has anyone else wondered where the year has went.  I can't believe we are into December already!

This week at The Paper Players, Laurie's THEME challenge is CHRISTMAS BAKING:

Fact: my least favourite room in the house is the kitchen.  I dislike cooking.  A lot.  But I do roll up the sleeves once a year to do some Christmas baking.  Because I love Christmas.  Every year I make Skor (toffee) shortbread, macadamia nut and white chocolate cookies, and bite size pecan tarts.  It's nothing elaborate but it's the only time I am proud of my kitchen skills =)

One of my new favourite sets is a kitchen/baking stamp set (go figure!) from Reverse Confetti.  I love the small little kitchen tools that can easily be placed on a card just about any where!

Stamps:  Reverse Confetti Kitchen LoveReverse Confetti Sweet Holiday
Die cuts:  Reverse Confetti Kitchen Love, My Favorite Things Blueprints 2
Extras:  Reverse Confetti Midnight Ink, Carta Bella Have A Merry Christmas pattern paper

I also created this card for the following challenge:

Cheers all!  Come play along, we would love to see what YOU create!

A gorgeous card and a clever take on the sketch, Jo x
Well, you might not like to cook, but all those treats you make at Christmas time sound delicious! Shortbread and toffee are two of my favorites! Your card is perfect. Love the paper pieced kitchen tools and the little jingle bell! I hope you have a wonderful week! XX

I like that sweet bell, tucked in with that lovely twine bow. Christmas brings out the domestic goddess in us all!
My mouth is watering after reading your list of Christmas bakes - you need to share those recipes Deanne! Love your cute card - especially the dotty rolling pin!

Those kitchen utensils are too cute! I'm not much of a baker during the year either but break out the rolling pin this time of year for Grandma's sugar cookies with sour cream! Hope you're having a good week!

This is such a super cute baking set Deanne, so much so I almost bought it just for the challenge! Adorable card, especially for someone who doesn't like the kitchen, lol!
