Merry Monday 137:
Good morning all! What a super fantastic weekend I had. I Christmas decorated all weekend and crafted, need I say more ;)
We bought a new tree this year as since we down-sized houses, our 12 foot tree just didn't fit anymore.
As promised, here is my non-traditional coloured tree. It's full of purple, pink, green and teal goodness!!! Though the other day I overheard an elderly lady (while looking at The Festival of Trees) ask her friend why anyone would put pink on their tree. The answer is simple really, it's my favourite colour =)
And a day time close-up of all that glittery goodness! And yes, I LOVE a full tree =)
This week at Merry Monday, I have chosen the theme of using a bird on your Christmas card.
In contrast to my Christmas tree, I went with a CAS bird card. I started with My Favorite Things Diagonal Stripes stencil and sponged with Stampin' Up! Pomegranate (retired) ink. I then added some birds from Wplus9 Love Birds and a Paper Smooches sentiments in Onyx Black VersaFine. I finished it off with some Doodlebug and MME enamel dots
As always, don't forget to check out the rest of my teamies' super fantastic creations at Merry Monday and enjoy the rest of your week! Cheers!
