11.09.14:

Good morning all!  I hope you have been enjoying your weekend so far!  Winter has definitely settled into mid-Canada, this morning it was -21C ( -5.8F) with the windchill.  But I like winter, so I am not complaining, plus (in my opinion) you just can't have Christmas without winter =)

I had fun creating this card;  I started with Reverse Confetti Doin' The Wave confetti cut and created the background with lots of fun colours.  I then embossed Inkadinkado Spirit of Christmas (discontinued) sentiment with Stampendous! White embossing powder on vellum.  I finished it off with a row of stitching and some Lawn Fawn Peace Joy Love sequins (which also might be discontinued?)

2014 Christmas Card Count = 52

I created this card for the following challenge:
Freshly Made Sketches

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday - cheers!!

Oh, my! That background is fabulous! I love how you used the vellum over it so we could still see the beautiful colors and patterns behind it. And I love the pretty sentiment too. Beautifully done! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!

I feel like a very bad Canadian. When I read your -21ºC my reaction was "OMG - brrrrrrr! It's too soon!!!!" and you're all like, "Oh well, winter's here." (I could title the previous sentences: "The Difference Between Ontarians and Residents of Saskatchewan When It Comes To Winter Weather". :-) )

Fabulous card! I adore the colours and the layout.
