Happy Birthday Love:


Good morning all!  It is Family Day here so instead of getting ready for work, I get to stay at home and "play".  Best kind of Mondays!!!

I have been trying more variety in my cards.  I usually create a lot of "cutie-pie" cards, but it's also nice to make other kinds.  I try not to get stuck in a rut.  

I have been trying my hand at...  hmmm... what do you call these kinds of cards?  Opposite of cutie-pie??

I inked up my JustRite For All You Do - Samatha Walker stamps and am playing again with this beautiful sketch.
Card Ingredients:  JustRite For All You Do and A New Day (Amazing Paper Graces) stamps, Making Memories and K&Co papers, Recollections cardstock, Hero Arts lace, Prima and Jolee flowers, American Crafts twine, Recollections gems, Craftsmart Black, Chocolate, Gold and Teal inks.  Tools: sewing machine, Oval and Scalloped Oval Nesties.

Oh my gosh Deanne! Such a gorgeous sight! We had a blizzard here in Wpg. yesterday, with 2 hours of back-breaking shoveling, and today for Art and Julia's trip here, the windchill is in the -40's. The forecast is for -17C tomorrow for the U-Haul. Let's cross our fingers it isn't windy. Brutal! Take care. XOXO's
