Swinging Birgitta:
Good morning all! Wednesday again = wahoooooo, just a few more days until August Long Weekend!!
AND... I can finally share my secret: I have been chosen to join the All That Scraps Challenge design team. Ask me how excited I am. VERY excited!!
Have you ever made a card and then decided that you dislike it very much? If not, please tell me your secret ;)
I decided to try a new technique (masking) and it went so well, I was very pleased with how the card was coming along. Then I did the unthinkable - with a whole slop of glue, I added something that looked terrible and decided it was sink or swim time and ripped it off. Then I was left with a big ol' gaping hole on my adorable little card - hence the reason there are oddly placed fences around my image.
Would you have noticed if I wouldn't have said anything LOL???
Card Ingredients: C.C. Designs digistamps, Craft Smart Breeze chalk ink, Simple Stories Summer Fresh papers, DCWV and Recollections
cardstock, Prismacolor pencils
(skin - Light Peach, Peach, Burnt Ochre, Blush Pink, Crimson Red; Hair
- 30%, 50%, 90% Cool Grey, Black; Tree/Swing - Chocolate, Dark Brown, Dark Umbre), Gelly Roll
white pen, Copic Black liner pen. Tools: C.C. Designs Fence cutters, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, Labels Eight Nestie.
I made this card for the following challenges: Paper Makeup - summer, Crazy 4 Challenges - hot summer nights, Card Makin' Mamas - 1 image, 2 papers, 3 embellishments, Wags 'n Whiskers - new technique (masking), Anything Goes - not a square.
Have a wonderful Wednesday and thanks for the visit!
