Gingham Toby:

Good morning all.  I have a rather simple card to share with you.  Hmmm... still took me a few hours though.  I thought after years of practice that one could get better and faster - certainly not the case for me :)

I love gingham almost as much as I love polka dots.  I surrounded freebie Toby (link found on my side bar) in lots of sparkle, gingham, and buttons - the perfect Christmas combo!

Card Ingredients:  StampFairy digi, DCWV papers, Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor pencils (fur - Chocolate, Dark Brown, Dark Umber;  cheeks - Magenta, Crimson Red;  ears - Magenta, Crimson Red), Recollections wood grain stamp, Recollections Chocolate Brown ink and Breeze chalk ink, Studio G sentiment stamp, Gelly Roll white pen, Martha Stewart Mica tinsel glitter, Dress It Up buttons, Martha Stewart bakers twine, Wilson's doily.  Tools:  sewing machine, C.C. Designs Fence and Cloud dies.

I made Toby for the following challenges:  Crimbo Crackers - Christmas animals, CSAYL - choose a sketch and make it Christmas, Stampin' Sisters in Christ - sparkle, Crafter's Companion - Christmas,  Sweet Sketch Wednesday - sketch:

As always, today is StampFairy's New Release Friday.

Well I think that's it for today - have a wonderful weekend!!!

Hi girlfriend I was thinking about you the other day whilst I was up the mountain and the boys were skiing is was cold about -5c and then I thought of you and your cold winters. That temperature is a bit like spring for you LOL. Love your card, I too adore gingham on cards I just don't know why I think it looks clean and fresh. I know what your mean about how long it takes to make a simple card that happened to me yesterday. Love your card and this very cute image which I must grab. Awesome job and thanks so much for sharing your card with us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and good luck.
