CDS May New Release:

Oh my goodness - it's mid-month again!?!  How is that possible!  I know I've said this before, but I just love Spring.  The sun is shining, the trees and grass are turning green, and the flowers are popping up.  So lovely!

It's New Release Day at Clear Dollar Stamps

I wanted to challenge myself with something uber masculine - Gone Fishing:
Card Ingredients:  Clear Dollar Stamp digi, My Mind's Eye papers and burlap, Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor Pencils (email me for complete list), Square Nesties, Tim Holtz metal tag, Martha Stewart bakers twine. Tools:  sewing machine, blending stumps, mineral spirit.

I made this fishing card for the following challenges:  Allsorts and Lollipop Crafts - for a man, Cards For Men - kicking back, Sketch N Stash - use stash (my papers and metal tag) and sketch:

And with something so masculine, I need something to balance it out - LOTS of polka dots, my favorite!  Ice Cream Social:
Card Ingredients:  Clear Dollar Stamp digi, Echo Park Spots & Dots papers, Prismacolor Pencils (email me for complete list), Dress It Up button, Doodlebug bakers twine. Tools:  sewing machine, blending stumps, mineral spirit.

I made this ice cream card for the following challenges:  Creative Inspirations and Secret Crafter - Mom,  The Paper Players - color challenge:

Thanks so much for the visit - I appreciate each and every one of you!!!!

Sorry I'm so slow in visiting, but I just wanted to tell you how wonderful both of your cards are, Deanne! The way you colored the fishing image is divine -- it looks like a frameable painting! And the paper piecing on the ice cream cones is just so darling. Love them both! :-)
