Zigzag Berries

Good Monday morning again! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. We keep getting rain here - every day. I wonder if we have set a rain record yet, and if we haven't then we must be close. The flower beds that I am trying to make are so muddy that it is almost glue. My poor little corner looks so, so sad. I figure the sun will come out at some point during the Summer and dry things off a bit (one can always hope!) I don't mean to complain, but it starts to get depressing after a while! Seriously, as I type this we are in another downpour. *sigh*

With that out of the way, we have a new challenge for you all at Practical Scrappers.

Our sponsor for this month is Digi Doodle and throughout the month you will get to check out our designers making use of some of their adorable digis! The Grand Prize Winner each week will get their choice of three digis from there!

This week, the challenge is Cartoon/Animation.

I tried to do some shading with my limited supply of Copics. This little character reminds me of Glo Worms. When I was a child I had a Glo Friend named Glo Butterfly (are you getting all this? LOL).

Here is the actual Glo Butterfly:

Sorry for the walk down memory lane. I didn't have a lot of toys growing up, but the ones I did have meant a lot to me.

I was going for a circle theme here, Derek bought me the Nestie Circles for my birthday and I just bought the Swiss Cheese border punch last week.

Card Ingredients: K&Co Citronella paper; Recollections cardstock; Bugaboo image; Oval Nesties; Copics; Gelly Roll white pen; EK Success Swiss Cheese border punch; Celebrate It ribbon; Dress It Up buttons; twine.

See you all tomorrow and stay crafty my friends.

Well Deanne, the image is so sweet, the colors you used are so bright and cheery, the nesties make your card so fab, and the ribbon, bow, buttons, twine, border punch, etc., along with your talents and imagination, all make for a terrific card. Love it so much!!

Awww, Deanne this is so adorable! Love the colours, it's a ray of summer sunshine in the rain (we're having weather like you) and that image is so cute, it reminds me of a glow bug too and I had one growing up too, it was green and one of those one's you sleep with and when you cuddle it it glows! Happy memories :) Have a great day!
