The Paper Players 353:
Good morning all! Happy Sunday to you! It is hot, hot, hot outside. As usual, I am in the comforts of the air conditioning. Seriously, I do not like to be in the sun - too hot for me!
This week at The Paper Players, Claire's CAS Challenge is Summer fun in the Water:
I thought this was the perfect chance for me to make a shaker card with beads/sequins as water (it's been in my head for awhile).
I coloured this little guy with Zig markers but this time I used a rather dry water brush to blend him out. That face!! Adorable lil fella!!
Stamps: SugarPea Designs Quackers, Simon Says Stamp Sketch Ranunculus
Die cuts: SugarPea Designs Quackers, My Favorite Things Heart Shaker Window and Frame
Frosting: My Favorite Things Heart Shaker Pouches, Tim Holtz Waterbrush, Canson XL Watercolor paper, Tsukineko Versafine Onyx Black, Zig Clean Color Real Brushes

Such a sweet shaker! He's adorable:)
He is indeed an adorable duckling. Making a shaker card was such a good idea. I like the little blue beads you've used inside.
Oh, this is just adorable! I agree with you about that little duck's face! I love the shaker card idea, too! You certainly rocked my challenge this week, My Friend! XX
Well, isn't this little duckie the cutest thing ever?! Love his expression and the giggles. Great idea for the shaker card and the colors are fabulous.
Love your cute CAS shaker Deanne - your duckie is adorable!
Who wouldn't love that cute face and such a brilliant shaker with the beads for water! I put this in the CASE file 😉 ~ Annie
Deanne I wouldn't have thought a shaker card could be CAS but you managed it perfectly! Plenty of white space, the little ducky is adorable, and did I mention I LOVE shakers?!
