Bombdiggity:

Hi all!  Well it's been over a week since my nasal surgery and I am feeling better every day.  I even got into the craft room!

For my birthday last week, my friend bought me this a-mazing paper pad from Michaels.  I am loving all that gold and bright colours!!!!!

This was such an easy card to create.  Just cut and go for it!  And where ever "bombdiggity" is, I will happily meet you there =)

I also think I am going to make bombdiggity my favourite word to use.

Frosting: Craft Smith Fandango paper (that's it!)

Merry Monday 254:

Happy Monday all!  I hope the weekend was good to you!  I am SO ready to get my nose packing gauze removed tomorrow.  I cannot wait!!!!!!

This week at Merry Monday, Lori would like us to create a MOOSE on our Christmas card.  Please also note that this is our last challenge for the summer, although you should check out our blog as we have a fun little 'side' challenge going on.

For this challenge I knew I wanted to go with a traditional ceramic moose mug theme.  It's funny what the brain can come up with =)

I heat embossed my moose, coloured them with Zig markers, and then die cut my little cups out.  With the mugs being so soft coloured, I didn't want my background to be overpowering, so I found some soft watercolour pattern paper.

After my card was all put together I realized there wasn't too much "Christmas" about my card.  Oh well - Christmas does not always have to been green and red =)

The Paper Players 350:

Hi all!  I will admit that my nose surgery set me back further then I thought.  I have not left the couch since Tuesday.  I am going on day number six - oh dear me!  The only things I have been doing is sleeping, napping, and nibbling on bits of food. The good news is that my nose is feeling better!  I get my "stuffing" (packed gauze) out on Tuesday.

This week at The Paper Players, Nance's SKETCH CHALLENGE is beautiful, I could use it million times over:

I went with more florals... and birthdays... and watercolours.

For a softer background look, I took a clean water brush and diluted my stamped lines and dots on the paper.  I am quite thrilled how my little floral birthday card turned out :)

This week at The Paper Players, Jaydee's CAS Challenge is FEATHERED FRIENDS:

I knew exactly which stamp set I wanted to use for the challenge as this little hummingbird is the CUTEST!!

It is hard to tell in my photo, but all that red is rose gold embossing powder.  It is a stunning product that I just got in the mail this week.
