Many photos today :) Hope you don't mind seeing a few.
First off, I tried to get some crafting done yesterday but instead I grabbed the cleaners and did a good spring cleaning to a few rooms in the house.
First off, I tried to get some crafting done yesterday but instead I grabbed the cleaners and did a good spring cleaning to a few rooms in the house.
So here I am today - I have been crafting all morning. I have one project to share with you and the rest, well, you will have to wait :)
Today's Challenges: 1. The ABC Challenge would like to see "Paper Piecing." This is my first time trying this technique - it was a bit nerve racking.
2. Charisma Cardz Challenge would like to see "Fairies."
{My fairies shirt is paper pieced}

3. Simon Says Challenge would like to see "Feminine (or Mother's Day)." Mother's Day isn't until May 9th here in Canada and I am just not that far ahead LOL. With the help of the internet I found out that the UK celebrates Mother's Day March 14th this year. (I love learning new things.)
4. Stampin' Royalty has a inspirational photo:
{I used the the colors}
5. Frosted Designs would like to see "My Favorite Technique." My absolute FAV technique is paper layering (or a whole schwack load of paper piling in my case). And I wonder why my cards can get so darn heavy!
{I have 8 layers on this side including the card itself. In total though, I have 13 on the other side}
6. Unscripted Sketches has another great sketch up this week:

7. Crazy 4 Challenges would like to see "Paper Piercing."
{I used my old sewing machine without thread}

And here is my final project:

I am a HUGE fan of Tim Burton. I LOVE it when he teams up with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter (they were also in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory together). Anyhoooo... I am off to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D in an hour so I better go get ready. This is going to be the best movie EVER!!!!!!!!
