Blog Hop 3

Good morning to you all!! How can it possibly be the last day of September??

It is Day 3 of my 13 Blog Hop Challenge. I have to say, I cheated today :S My challenge to myself was not only to get all 13 done BUT not to combine the challenges. Well that went out the window girls :)

I have combined 4 challenges into this one card.

Challenge #8: Practical Scrappers Use a die cut (make your own or use a pre-cut)

Challenge #9: Just Buggin' Alter a die cut (glitter, sand, ink etc)

Challenge #11: ScrapFIT Make a "Happy Fall" card (in Canada we call it Autumn too - is that everywhere??)

Extra Challenge: And I squeezed in another challenge that isn't part of the Blog Hop, but I wanted to show my support to the girls at Frosted Designs. It is a brand new challenge blog that looks super delish :) Go on over and take a look! The challenge this week is ink or chalk your paper pieces.

Card Ingredients: Everything is Recollections Autumn collection except the leaves and button. They are just random things in my stash.

I don't know if I finish the rest!! Time is running up PLUS I haven't participated in any of my regular challenges *so... torn* I have been spending time preparing for this 2nd job of mine, plus I think we are leaving the city this weekend. And Diana - "couch scrap"?? That sounds way too difficult LOL I don't know if I can multitask!

When will I ever have time to get back into the swing of things??? ...I shall breathe, and take one day at a time LOL! Scrapping is supposed to be fun, not stressful - I tell myself that all the time.

I am now babbling...

Challenge #2: All About Me This a challenge that involves "Me" and what color I would be. We also had to scraplift from a Design Team member. I chose April to scraplift from. I liked her clean and simple LO plus there wasn't a lot of jouralling, which I don't do a lot of :)

Of course, I am PINK.

Seriously folks, I doubt I will get them all finished, I have 6 left. With my full-time job, starting my 2nd part-time job, watching my tv shows on Wednesday and Thursday :) I don't know how I will possibly get these all done. Nonetheless, I will try my hardest! Wish me luck!!!

Blog Hop 1

I have officially challenged myself. There is a 13 stop Blog Hop Challenge going on right now, it ends October 1st at midnight. And I have decided to do as many as I possibly can. Unfortunately, I think I have bitten off wayyyy more than I can chew.

Challenge #3: Whimsical Scraps & Bugs The challenge is to make a Halloween candy bag (and use your Cricut/Cuttlebug too)!!! I had fun with this one because I have never made a goodie bag before.

I neva seen you look so good

Good FRIDAY morning all!! It's my favorite day of the work week and my 2nd favorite day of the whole week :) AND... only three more months until Christmas!!!!!!!

Challenge #1: This post is for Sami at SPCC :) Please go over and visit as there is a HUGE Blog Hop going on!

Here are the fabulous colors this week for the color challenge:

I didn't think I could do this challenge as I am pretty much out of anything nice in these particular colors. But I heard that Sami is looking for a Design Team member and I wanted to prove to her that I can do it!!!!! So I came home after work last night and got to business!

And here is what I came up with - I challenged myself, did my best, and in my eyes that is what counts the most!! The colors aren't exact now that I see them beside each other but c'est la vie!


Challenge #2: Candy Shoppe Designs has a "make your own patterned paper" challenge. So I took this opportunity to squish all my flowers together through my Cuttlebug and create my own paper.

I glued all the flowers on a piece of cardstock, ran it through an embossing folder, and then trimmed it to size:

Boy, my infamous flowers sure have come in handy!!!!

Woah, we're half way there...

Good Thursday Morning to you all!! I hope you all are having very mild Autumn weather like we are here.

Challenge #1: SPCC hosts Finally Friday and I wanted to show my support to Sami, DT and the guest hosts. Each week SPCC selects a Finally Friday host and that person hosts a challenge of their choice.

Last Friday, the Finally Friday host was Julie (check out her challenge here). Julie's challenge is the Power of Three.

The week before, the Finally Friday host was Erin (check out her challenge here). Erin's challenge is to use designer paper and to make a cheer up/get well card.

I combined both Finally Friday challenges and came up with this simple card:
