Merry Monday 185:

Good morning all!  I hope you enjoyed your weekend. The Christmas Season is officially upon us with only 2 1/2 more days of work left!!!!  Wahooooooo!

This week at Merry Monday, Nina has chosen the theme of BOOTS on your Christmas card:

This will be our last challenge of the year and we hope to see you back, bright eyed and bushy tailed for 2016!!

I admit, I was stumped.  I have mittens, scarves, skates, stockings, socks.  But no boots.  So I dug to the bottom of one of my Christmas drawers and found this little ELF GUY.  Granted he was wearing what looked like elf leggings but I felt I could at least work with that!!  So I grabbed some pom poms and bows and created some "wow" boots.

I started my layers with My Favorite Things Blueprints (as always!) and Die-namics Horizontal Stitched Stripes.  I also reached for a Reverse Confetti Tag Me Too Confetti Cut and a SugarPea Designs Merry Makers sentiment.

I created this card for the following challenge:

As You See It

As always, do not forget to check out the rest of my teamies' fantastic creations at Merry Monday and come play along too!!!

I would think that elf boots more than qualify for this challenge! They definitely need boots in all that snow and it wouldn't be Christmas without them! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, Deanne!

Love the contrast between the blue and green, the elf is SO adorable and the glittery peg is a great final touch. Thanks for adding another of your wonderful cards to this week's challenge at As You See It.
