A Gingham Rose:

Good morning!! Today is going to be a GREAT day - I can feel it!! It's all begun with coffee that is soooo strong, I should be bouncing off the walls in about two minutes :)

I figure that's a good start to any day :)

So I finally used some traditional Christmas colors: red and green. Too bad it's on a very Summery card. I made this card for my Grandma, she is going in for knee replacement surgery in a few weeks.
Gingham Rose - Bugaboo
Card Ingredients:
Bugaboo digi; K&Co and KI Memories papers; Bazzill and Recollections cardstock; Copics; Scalloped Oval, Oval, and Rectangle Nesties; Fiskars Threading Water border punch; Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch; Prima flowers; Dress It Up buttons; Recollections gems.

I made Rose Bear for the following challenges:
Hooked on Crafts - things with wings
Crafty Creations - animals
Stampin' B's - square/circle easel card
Your Next Stamp Challenge - fruits
The Pink Elephant - inspirational photo:
Forever Friends - 3D
The Paper Shelter - use die cuts/punches
Flutter By Wednesdays - anything with a butterfly
Sweet Sketch Wednesday - sketch #116:

Also StampFairy has a New Release today - this would be perfect for my Grandma as well!

Have a wonderful Friday.
Stay crafty.

Hi Deanne, your card totally rocks and your Grandma is going to fall in love with it. I just adore your colours so bright and cheery and of course your wonderful paper piecing. I bet it's getting colder where you are I was telling my boys how cold it gets in your part of Canada and they just can't get over it. The coldest they've experienced is -9c. Thanks for joining us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday this week.
