SSW 90 - Sweet 'n Sassy

Today's Ramblings: I brought out the new sewing machine - wasn't too difficult. It's like I never stopped sewing. Now Derek is lining up with pants to hem *sigh*

As most of you may know, Christchurch New Zealand was hit with an earthquake on February 22. One of my SSW Teamies is from New Zealand - Kathie, I hope you are okay and have been thinking about you.

Today's DT Challenge:

Hi Deanne, Yes I'm fine and thanks for all the love and caring. What a wonderful card, I just adore the paper piecing and that stitching is perfect. I just love the yellow stars. Next you'll be darning socks and sewing buttons on for your man a real domestic godess.
Hope you have a great week and weekend.

Wow, do I love the textures on your card this week. Thanks for the close up! I love the bazzil paper for the blanket...that was too perfect. But I also love the felt star and your glitter. You always have such bright and cheerful cards! I love them all! Congrats on using your new machine! I was also worried about Kathie today! So happy she is safe!

Wow Deanne - fabulous card! Love the color combination and the wonderful textures from the papers you've used. I think it's absolutely genious that you paper-pieced the blanket with the textured C/S - it looks like blanket texture. This image is so sweet too. Just so many wonderful details on this card.
Hugs,
Sharon
