1 American Crafts Spring ribbon

Just a couple of quick rules:

1. Comment on this post and tell me what your favorite thing about Spring is. My favorite thing about Spring is when our apple trees blossom .

2. You don't have to follow my blog, but you can if I inspire you in any way :)

***********

With that said, on with today's card. I lost my mojo yesterday. I was so looking forward to making a lot of cards yesterday. But instead I starred at my supplies blankly for a couple of hours, got fed up, and played Super Mario on the Wii for the afternoon LOL. I may not have accomplished much in a crafty way, but I did get quite far in my game :)

Today's Challenges: 1. The Pink Elephant would like to see "Nature."

2. The Corrosive Challenge would like to see "Texture."

3. Unscripted Sketches has another great sketch this week:

I "whipped" up this card today - maybe took me about 45 minutes. That is a good start for me!!

Card Ingredients: K&Co Lofty Nest paper; Bazzill and Recollections cardstock; K&Co handmade flower die-cut; Stampendous! stamp; Craft Smart Chocolate Brown ink; Celebrate It ribbon; random button, gems, and twine.

Happy Sunday everyone!!! See you all again tomorrow!! Stay crafty :)

Yummy card... love the beautiful colors.... and yummy candy too!

What I love about spring is the flowers I see all around me. It is a different feeling, especially when a crowded Metrolpolis is blooming with colorful flowers!

Thank you for the chance. (I've been a follower since long..)

Looks like mine is the first comment on this post! Whoa..! ;-)

Beautiful card, Deanne! My favourite thing about spring is when the flowers start blooming. Back home in BC, the first ones are the crocuses. The pop right up through the snow! :) Here in northern AB, all of the flowers seem to arrive at once. :) Thanks so much for the chance to win!

Oh My goodness! Now that is one super sweet blog candy. Thanks so much hun. for the chance to win some goodies!!

Here in Edmonton the weather is starting to get better.....not too much wind.

My fave thing about Spring is taking my doggie for long walks and the air is a tad chilly but not too too cold. The smell of Spring as we go for our walks always makes me smile.

Thanks so much hun.

Well, I'm a follower already! I love all blooming things. I think my favorite thing about spring is it is a new beginning of life. My Savior gave me life and a promise of salvation in spring, so that is why I love it!

Your card is incredible! My honeybee is reading with me and he loves the button in the ribbon! :-)
See, guys love this stuff too!
Blessings,
Kim xXx

Hi Deanne, thats a lovely card and as always your colours are beautiful. What do I love most about spring??? Now that's a hard one as there are so many great things to enjoy: lighter evenings, blossom on our fruit trees, tiny daffodils, little shoots peeking through the soil and being woken by birdsong. I think my favourite thing this year has to be watching the seeds that my hubby planted just a week ago bursting into amazingly vigorous growth! It's a happy, happy season isn't it! Jo x

Beautiful card Deanna :)

My favorite thing about spring is watching everything come back to life!! The grass, the trees, the flowers....everything!! It's still pretty cold here in NL but it'll warm up soon.

My favorite thing about spring is that there is no snow....I hate snow. That said, it was snowing here (Cape Breton) yesterday- yuck! I love the fresh smell in the air in spring too.
Thanks for the chance at winning- that looks like a box full of fun coming someone's way!

I like the color combo that you used

The thing that I like about spring, of course, are the flowers. I also like, when after a very wet winter, the forest change the color

thanks for this wonderful giveaway!!!!!

Mmm yummy blog candy! One of my favorite things about spring, is that my birthday is about 10 days after spring officially begins... which means I usually have nice weather to celebrate in and nice springy colored clothes to wear :) My least favorite part (adding this in lol) is that I suddenly now have allergies so I have to take Claritin everyday or otherwise I'm in outer space lol.

Annnnd obv. I'm a follower :)

Great card & fabulous blog candy!

My favourite thing about spring is Tulips!!! I love tulips and the early blossoms in my garden make me happy just to look at them!

Thanks for the chance to win!!

I think your mojo is back, baby!! I was just scrolling through your blog (it's been a week or so since I visited) and ALL your cards rock!! Well done!
My favourite thing about spring is watching all the new shoots and leaves come out. I love how a dead looking tree slowly gets a green 'glow' and then suddenly ... the leaves are out!
Great candy giveaway. Thanks for the chance to win such yumminess!

Wowsers! Now that's what ya call candy! Fierce generous of you.

My favourite thing in Spring is when the Bluebells come out down around my duck pond. It always reminds me of being a little girl and running down to pick them for my Mammy, now my little boy does it and it's just heart warming.
