Today's Ramblings: The weekend is over and it's back to work time - booooooo! Such a gloomy and cold weekend too - booooo! Oh well, what can you do? Craft then maybe?

I made #21 and #22 of the year for Christmas cards. I am trying to make 5 a month (but got side-tracked in January). Unfortunately, I ran out of time and had to make two of the same cards.

I started with Lenny Christmas {found here}. Though it looks like I put him in jammies, he is really supposed to look Santa-ish:

This is my first time making a "traditional" shaker card. I would do a few things different if I were to take on this challenge again.

At first I had so many beads that you could barely see the tip of Lenny's hat - so I had to open it up and dump out beads and they went flying everywhere!

SSW 103 - Stamping Boutique

Today's Ramblings: How can it possibly be the last Wednesday of the month?!?!?! It is already 7 months until Christmas. I know, I know, I said the 'C' word - sorry!

We have had a few cooler days with a frost advisory last night. I had to bring in my flower planters as I didn't want them to catch a cold :) I laugh now, but on Sunday I thought I killed my $100 flowers to a very cold day - I almost had a heart attack - no worries though, they have bounced back with some sunshine.

Today's Ramblings: Good morning. I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend (if you get one). It is the "official" start of Summer in Canada now that Victoria Day is over. The weather was gorgeous all weekend but Monday was cold and damp - perfect for crafting!

I decided to do something new again this week as I really enjoyed making Joy Fold cards last week.

Today's Ramblings: What an exhausting week so far - good thing for long weekends! This weekend is May Long Weekend - where all of us crazy Canadians go camping and freeze our butts off. I like to stay at home, indoors :) I imagine I will be crafting and doing yard work.

Today's Ramblings: Good morning. What a beautiful sun-shiney weekend we had. We did a lot of yard work, brought in top soil and finished the flower bed renos. I also bought two gorgeous flower baskets to put on the front step. Now if only that wind would die down.

Today's Ramblings: The crowd goes wild as Blogger is now fixed! It's funny what we take for granted and expect things just to work. Just this week our hot water was down for half a day and all I could think of was that I had to run the dishwasher, have a shower, and do some laundry. I took Blogger being down in stride though, I looked at it as a forced time off sort of thing :)
