The Paper Players 365:

Happy Thanksgiving Sunday to you!

This week at The Paper Players, Joanne's COLOUR Challenge is rich in autumn goodness:

I STRUggled with this colour challenge.  I am not sure why.  But I did.  I just couldn't get the colours to photograph well.  This is actual my back up card as the first card turned out SO blurry and icky.  I feel my secound card turned out a smidge better, but still photographed a bit blurry.  Oh well, it's not challenge if it's not a challenge =D

Stamps:  My Favorite Things Geometric Greenery, Simon Says Stamp Sketch Ranunculus
Die cuts:  Simon Says Stamp Painted Happy Birthday
Frosting:  Stampin Up! Early Espresso ink, Tim Holtz Waterbrush, Zig Clean Color Real Brushes

 Cheers all!

I think your card is fantastic! What a clever way to use the colors! The yellow leaves are so pretty and the way you inked the bottom of this bold sentiment is fantastic! I hope you have a great week, My Friend! XX

They were challenging colours and for me it was because I'm not overfond of Peekaboo Peach or indeed, most oranges. As you say, it's good to be stretched. I really like the shading you've added to the die cut word and the enamel shapes.
Oooohhh ! That's a nice card ! I love the ombrƩ effect on your sentiment.

Sorry to hear you struggled with this challenge Deanne, but your end result is beautiful. I love the look of watercoloring with white embossing, even if the camera doesn't!

Challenge or not, it turned out beautifully. Love the ombre look on the die-cut sentiment. Great card, Deanne!

I love the soft effect you created here, Deanne! I know how frustrating it can be some times, when the photograph doesn't really capture the beauty of your creation!! I think it's lovely!

Well I think the end result of this week's 'challenging' card Deanne is so pretty Deanne! I love the white-on-white embossing and the subtle colouring of the two-tone leaves and ombre sentiment. Gorgeous!
