Country Christmas Tree:

Good morning all!  I'm back from our Alaskan vacation and feeling refreshed, though since the minute I got home, I've been sick - go figure :)

This week's inspiration photo challenge at Papercraft Star is:

 Suggested Inspiration:
Colors
Create a scene
Doors or Windows
Brick
Christmas

My Inspiration:  Christmas, colours (deep red and teal)

I, of course, went with Christmas.  I  took my inspiration from those tiny Christmas trees and printed a digi on embossed paper.  I then wiped the ink off the shiny embossed paper for a more distressed feel.

Card Ingredients:
Stamps: digital image from ????
Papers:  House of Three, MME
Cardstock: Recollections
Bits/Bobs: Wild Orchard flowers and crown pins, recycled pine cones, MME brad, Wilton doily
Tools: sewing machine, Making Memories edge distresser

I created this card for the following challenges:  Jingle Belles - vintage Christmas, Creative Card Crew - Christmas, Simon Says Monday - not stamping on white cardstock, Sparkles Christmas - non traditional colours.

Don't forget to check out the rest of my teamie's super fantastic creations:

This card has so many wonderful elements! I just kept looking at all those layers and was really wow'd by your techniques. I love how the trees appear to be coming out of the snow-- so lifelike and beautiful! I also adore the maroon pins and little pine cone you included and the stitching around the edges is a wonderful addition. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog.
