Good morning all!  I don't know about you, but we desperately need some sun around here.  It's been gloomy, rainy, snowy and cold.  Everyone is a Mr. Cranky Pants.  Including me :)

I thought I would cheer myself up with a bright and happy card, feathers and all!  I also tried using thread in a messy way as I see it make an appearance here and there in the crafting world.

I do have a question (which I suppose I should have had on here earlier) - would you consider this CAS??  I would, but maybe I am pushing it with the stitching??

Wow, I adore this, Deanne! That chevron background with the matching chevron feather is super cool!!

I don't think it is CAS, but I think it is fabulous! I've copied below the best definition I've seen of CAS. It's from "The Card Concept" challenge blog, where they also have lots of other styles defined.

1. Clean and Simple (CAS)

Definition:
One main image
Lots of open space (uncluttered)
Limited layers & embellishments
Quick & easy to recreate
