Merry Monday 263:

Happy Monday all!!  Only 8 more weeks until Christmas - I hope your card stash has been growing steadily.  I think I am just under 70 now and SLOWLY getting closer to my 100 mark!

This week at Merry Monday, Lori has asked us to use this photo for inspiration on our Christmas card:

I noticed the jar of giant marshmallows and this is where I got my main inspiration from.

So I made a marshmallow shaker card =)

In the Stars:

Hello, hello!  I have been working busily in the craftroom again this weekend.

Today I tried a new to me technique - eclipsing!  It was a bit time consuming (I am a newbie) but I am so happy how it turned out!  Perhaps with a bit more practice it won't take hours to do =)

I used four layers of white card stock to pop up my stars.

Stamps:  My Favorite Things Thanks So Very Much (retired)
Die cuts:  My Favorite Things Lucky Stars (retired)
Extras:  Stampin' Up! inks, Ranger Super Fine White embossing powder

The Paper Players 368:

Good Sunday morning to you!

This week at The Paper Players, Jaydee has us playing tic tac toe:

(I chose Christmas, die cut, and wreath)

I knew I wanted to die cut something in copper.  I chose this beautiful wreath from my stash and added it to my "brick wall."

I love using non-traditional colours for Christmas so I dug a little further in my stash and pulled out these pinky-purple pearls.

Stamps:  My Favorite Things Snowfall of Blessings
Die cuts:  SugarPea Designs Funky Wreath All Seasons, SugarPea Designs Celebrate

Happy Monday all!!

This week at Merry Monday, Linda has asked us to add a gift to our Christmas card:

I decided to create a night's snowy sky with a festive penguin pulling little gifts.  Since sometimes I can be cheap (my husband would say I am NEVER cheap), I fussy cut all my little bits and shaped cosmetic cotton balls for fur =)

Merry Monday 261:

Happy Monday all!!

This week at Merry Monday, Kelly has asked us to use an ORNAMENT on our Christmas card:

I brought out my favourite ornament collection and new I wanted to do some metallics.  Since I couldn't decide with colour to go with, I chose to do all three.  Silver, gold, and rose gold!  I basically had these cards complete when I decided they needed a pop of colour.  Unfortunately I could not get a lot of of depth using my Zigs as I did not use watercolour paper.  Oh well!

Stamps:  Hero Arts Christmas Crystals, My Favorite Things Deer Friends
Die cuts:  My Favorite Things Merry Christmas
