Merry Monday 242:

Happy Monday all!  I hope the weekend was good to you!  I spent the whole weekend in the craftroom and left the house once, to go to Michaels.  Because I needed something.  Something that would have been out of stock soon if I didn't go then.  Priorities you know??!

This week at Merry Monday, Debbie would like us to create a Christmas card with TWIGS or BRANCHES:

I went rather traditional (green is traditional right?!?) and created a clear heat embossed ombre background blending technique card.  I also added my favourite water splooshing.

No embellishments???  That is correct, not one!

Has anyone noticed that I haven't been using patterned paper lately??  I am trying to make good use of the things I have;  really trying to stretch my stash!

Card Ingredients:

Stamps:  Papertrey Ink Spruce and Sprigs, Simon Says Stamp Big Scripty Greetings Holiday

Die cuts:
My Favorite Things Blueprints 13
Frosting:  Tsukineko Versafine Onyx Black, Wow Embossing Powder Clear Gloss, Stampin' Up! inks,  Stampin' Up! cardstock

You know the drill...
As always, do not forget to check out the rest of my teamies' fantastic creations at Merry Monday and come play along too!!!

Have a fantastic Monday - cheers all!

Beautiful, elegant, Christmas card! I just went to a stamp show this past Saturday and purchased some white embossing powder. Your Lovely card has inspired me to get it out and play. I really like the technique you used!
Just love the branches coming in from top and bottom with the sentiment in the center - cool design, Deanne! Love the ombre resist too! LOL - if you were at my house, all you'd be using is patterned paper to try to use it up. I have tons!!
