Merry Monday 172:

Good morning all!  I hope you enjoyed your weekend.  Another rather boring weekend around here, just the way I like!

This week at Merry Monday, Katie has chosen the theme of using WATERCOLOURS on your Christmas card:

I was sitting at my desk trying come up with an idea, when I noticed a discarded watercolour that I had intentionally painted for another card.  I was rather displeased with it and was going to throw it in the trash.  Good thing I didn't as it was perfect for this creation, all I had to do was add the stamp and a border.  Done.

Ingredients:
Cardstock - Stampin' Up! Mint Macaron, Canson XL Watercolor paper
Dies -
My Favorite Things De-Namics Blueprints 2, My Favorite Things Die-namics Blueprints 21
Stamps - Stampendous Oh Christmas Tree
Inks -
Versafine Onyx Black, Stampin' Up! Mint Macaron, Stampin' Up! Tempting Turquoise
Others -  Doodlebug Beetle Black Sprinkles

As always, do not forget to check out the rest of my teamies' fantastic creations at Merry Monday and come play along too!!!

Perfect watercoloring on your card. Love it when items you think don't work for one thing work perfectly for another. LOVE this!
Hello Deanne: I'm so glad you didn't throw away that beautiful water color piece, it's just amazing, the shades of blue look lovely with the black of your tree stamp, which by the way, has the sentiment in it showing the colors of the panel, just perfect for this challenge.
Thank you for having me as your guest designer today, it's a thrill and an honor.
Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.
