Merry Monday 159:

Good morning all!  I hope you enjoyed your weekend.  It's Victoria Day here which means a long weekend Monday (my favourite kind of long weekends!).  We have been spending a lot of time outdoors building this, and planting that.  Hopefully by next Summer we can just simply enjoy our new build yard.  But in the meantime, it sure has been fun landscaping =)

This week at Merry Monday, Debbie has chosen the theme of using a NON-EVERGREEN on your Christmas card:

I must admit, I have ONE non-evergreen tree stamp.  So it was a no-brainer to me where my card was headed.

I did however want to create a watercolour effect so that is exactly what I did.  I painted directly on my Hero Arts Winter Trees stamp, spritz it with a bit more water, and viola!  Done!

I added a Avery Elle Winter Wreath sentiment (in watercolour as well), American Crafts twine, and some sequins.

As always, do not forget to check out the rest of my teamies' fantastic creations at Merry Monday and come play along too!!!

Have a fantastic Monday - cheers all!
