Sweet Baby Jake:

Good morning all!  Can you believe that it's Friday already tomorrow?!  Blink and the week is over.

This week StampFairy is sponsoring Charisma Cardz' hearts and flowers challenge.

Okay, I am not sure why I thought about stamping in grey was a good idea, but it wasn't.  I am not pleased at all with Jake - he looks faded and washed out.  Poor little guy!  Lesson learned :)

Though I wasn't too happy with faded Jake, I did think I was rather clever using this heart charm.  It's actually the ridged backside of the charm that I filled with glue and glitter

Card Ingredients:  StampFairy digi, MME papers, Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor pencils, American Crafts jute, Gelly Roll white pen, Martha Stewart Swan flocking powder, Recollections gems, Prima flowers, Blue Moon charm, Martha Stewart Feldspar glitter.  Tools:  mineral spirits and blending stumps, sewing machine, Making Memories edge ripper, CC Designs Olive Branch cutters, Oval and Scalloped Oval Nesties.

I made this card for the following challenges:  Cutie Pie - 3 textures, 613 Ave Create - anything w kraft, Here Come the Boys - BINGO (blue, die cuts, blue), Sunday Sketch & Stamp - sketch:

Have a wonderful Thursday, thanks for the visit and don't forget to stay warm and cozy!

BTW, Jake doesn't looked washed out to me. He looks soft and baby like. I think using the grey was an "outside the box" choice that works well. IMHO

He is very cute & I love all of the embellies you chose to go with him. Thanks for playing in our neighborhood at 613 Avenue Create. We look forward to seeing you again.

I think the faded look came out great. That is so creative to alter the charm heart like you did. Wonderful work Deanne.
