Mon Petite Bebe:

Hi everyone!!  I am here today to share a card with you all - secound card this week --- look at me go!  My shoulders have been sitting at about a 70% for the last two weeks and don't seem to be getting any better so I figure I might as well start crafting again.

This card only took two nights, but I did it!  Boy, I thought I was a slow crafter before, but this??  Oh well :)

I was asked to be a guest bartender at Raise The Bar with a challenge of CASEing Thanh's card:

{ETA:  This is NOT my card above - I am CASEing Thanh's card}

Hmmm...  I took French for nine years.  It's a good thing this card isn't going to someone who speaks fluent French, otherwise they find a lot of mistakes in my three little words :)

 I thought I would use a lot of my favorite things in this card:  girly, pink, stitching, big bows, distressing, and my pencils.

But do you see her blanket?  I dusted off my flocking powder and gave her a nice soft blankie - awhhhh, how sweet :)

Card Ingredients:  StampFairy digi, Samantha Walker papers, Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor pencils, Celebrate It ribbon, Gelly Roll white pen, Martha Stewart Swan flocking powder, Recollections pearls.  Tools:  mineral spirits and blending stumps, sewing machine, Making Memories edge ripper.

I made this card for the following challenges:  Divas by Design - girly, 4 Crafty Chicks - pearls, Unique Crafters, Joanna Sheen - new beginnings, Sweet Sketch Wednesday - sketch:

AND... as I am trying to get everything done in one card, please meet StampFairy's newest member, Mimi Valentine:

Phew...  that was a lot of stuff.. hopefully if all goes well I will be back next week too!  Stupid shoulders...  grumble grumble...

Ow wow, I love them both but LOVE that flocking powder. It's fab. is it anything like flowersoft or is it different stuff? I've never heard of flocking powder but it looks so soft and lovely on her blanket.

Both of your French cards are amazing. The one is masculine, the other one feminine, and you've created both to perfection. I'm so worried that if you're not extremely patient with your shoulders, that it could become a chronic condition. As hard as it is for you to slow down with your crafting, there would be less time lost, than if you can never craft again. Please listen to your body and take good care of yourself. I don't mean to preach, sound bossy, or tell you how to live your life, but I'm very concerned about you and love you.
both of your cards are just so cute!! I hope your shoulders get feeling better. Arlana is really struggling with her hands hurting her.. Both of you nned to get feeling better.
Hugs, Nancy

So good to see you playing here again Deanne! This is one of your best cards ever - so darn cute and the french words are such a wonderful touch. I love the shading effect around the image, the flocking on the blankie and your stitching adds such interest all over. Truly fabulous! So glad you could join us at SSW!
