Let It Snow:

Good morning all - I hope you all had a super fabulous Christmas.  I know I did!  Lots of crafting goodies I can't wait to play with :)

Today is Boxing Day which is my secound favorite day of the year (following Christmas).  It's just a fun tradition that I have with my in-laws of shopping until we drop and fighting the crowds.  Totally not my thing but I make one exception for Boxing Day :)

Hmmmmmmm - I just looked at the temperature outside, I best be bundling up today - it is absolutely freezing out!  Seriously, it is -29C (-20F) but -38C (-36.4F) with the windchill.  Yikes!!!!!!!!!  What a terrible day to be outside!

I am still on holidays and will continue taking time off from Blog Land for another week and back to work on January 7th.

I miss you all and I really truly do hope you are having a wonderful holiday season :)

This week's challenge at Papercraft Star is Snow.  We are open for one week so you have plenty of time to join us.  The wonderful thing about our challenge is you can use any medium you would like!

I used a Christmas snowflake tag that was on a box of chocolates and the glitter paper is actually gift wrap paper that I adhered to cardstock.
Card Ingredients:  Christmas tag, Christmas gift wrap.  Tools:  EK Success corner punch.
(easy ingredients this time around!!)

I made this card for the following challenges:  CAS-ual Fridays - 10 minute CAS, The Paper Players - snowflakes, UnstampaBelles - Christmas.

Cheers!!  And have a wonderful Wednesday!

Oh dear, I remember those -20 + windchill days from when I lived in Minnesota - that is truly bitter. I don't envy you out on a day like that !! Hope you had an amazing Christmas ! I love your "recycled" card, using all those extra bits we all save for someday - it is perfect for this challenge !! ♥♥♥♥♥ -J-

Seriously.... -29C that is way to cold to go anywhere. :-)and so hard to imagine as I sit here at the other end of the scale in +30C. Thank you for sharing your beautiful glittery card with us at Unstampabelles.

I hope you found some great deals while you shopped till you dropped and battled the crowds at the stores on Boxing Day. Such a shame that the weather was so miserable, though! Deanne, I would love to buy this card from you, providing it is still available. It is so gorgeous and you know who would absolutely love it, right! Purple and snowflakes - it couldn't be more perfect for her, right! I'll send you an email with my request and you can keep me posted. Thanks a lot.
