Chubby Birthday...

Good morning!  It's going to be a great week - my boss is away until next week - yipppppppeeeee!  Oh, and in case he is reading this:  you're the bestest boss in the whole wide world ;)

It's also Halloween.  I know I might be unpopular, but I don't like Halloween.  The only thing that makes it worthwhile is the candy that we eat prior to handing out **heehee*.  We don't have children, so we can't appreciate Halloween from that point of view and our dog HATES when the doorbell rings.  Good thing I have my husband - he loves to hand out candy to all the little trick-or-treaters :)

Shame on me, right???

So today, of all days, you might see a Halloween card being posted - nope LOL.

I love playing with sketches - such a great way to be inspired.

I have had this little guy Chubby Handyman for a while and knew he would look great with a bit of my crafty stash.  Unfortunately I had to cut the hammer out of the digi because it didn't go with all the screws and nuts and bolts.  I suppose I should have gotten Chubby with the screwdriver hey?

Wow - that was a mouthful.  Looks like I am in a talkative mood today :S

Baby Boy Jake...

Good Saturday evening to all of you!  Guess what?!?!?!  It finally snowed this afternoon - I ran out with my husband and the dogs and enjoyed our first real day of Fall/Winter.  Too bad it didn't stick around, oh well - there is LOTS of time for snow!

I don't usually craft Saturday nights but I felt an urge to create.  I am happy I did because I am pleased how my little baby card turned out.

Love at First Fright...

Good morning all!  I hope you've been enjoying your week - t'is almost Friday, and you know that always make me happy!!

I have been crafting all week but I guess it's just one of those weeks when you don't feel like your work is at its best.  Those cards will go into a drawer and won't come back out until I can fix them to my likings :)

Oh this card - LOL - I had red sparkle EVERYWHERE.  On the puppy, in my eyes, throughout my sewing machine, just to name a few.  I definitely don't need to work with red sparkle again for a while ;)

Beary Cute...

Hello Monday again, my oh my, why do you creep up so quickly??  Can you believe in one week it will be Halloween??  C-R-A-Z-Y how quickly the year is zipping by....

This is my take on Halloween - I usually don't use orange nor do I use a Halloween sentiment.  I wouldn't know what to do with an honest to goodness Halloween card if I were ever to make one :)

Toasty Bears...

Happy Saturday!  I hope you have been enjoying the weekend so far.  I haven't done much so far, but I do plan to do more crafting today and tomorrow.

I have been waiting patiently for the snow to start flying, and as we speak my snow tires are being put on my car.  My friends, I am ready for winter!  Now weather - you cooperate with me!  How can I even start thinking of Christmas when the sun is shining and I still see green grass out my window!

I guess I will have to settle for making a warm snuggly winter card.

Patches Winter Birthday...

Good morning to all my blogging buddies!  I hope the week has been treating you well so far.  I live for the weekends, so any day closer to Friday afternoon is GREAT in my books ;)

I used this uber cute image:  Patches.  I think Patches looks like he's ready to snuggle, so I created a patchwork blankie background for him.

Here's a little tip for you:  when coloring with Copic markers, sometimes I go out of the lines.  Instead of using the Blender Copic marker to push the ink back into the image, I use a white gel pen just to touch up on white cardstock.  It's WAY quicker and no one will ever know that you're not perfect ;)

Lobster Barry...

Good morning!!  I hope you had a great weekend.  The weather has been so mild here, it certainly doesn't feel like mid-October.  We were able to clean up the yard for the winter, so it's nice to get that out of the way....  now bring on CHRISTMAS!!!!

Vintage Christmas...

Good afternoon blogging buddies - where did the weekend go??  I have to keep this short and sweet as I need to make some supper soon.

I did something a little different today - I tried to make a vintage card.  Something I have never done but nonetheless, I am pretty happy with how it turned out.  Unfortunately, I had A LOT of of ink all over the place - on my hands, on my crafting table, and even on my face - leave it to me to do something like that :)

Meet Clementine Winter...

Good Friday morning all!!  Wowzers, Friday came really quick (not that I'm complaining).  This weekend will be the last to enjoy any remaining flowers in the yard - it's Fall cleaning weekend!!  Am I excited to clean the yard??  No, but it does mean that Winter is right around the corner, and we all know what my favorite Winter holiday is....  CHRISTMAS!!!  Only 10 more weeks!

Purple & Silver Wedding:

Oh my!  How can Thanksgiving be over??!!  Now it is pretty much mid-October - where is the time going??  And the sun?  It's not even up yet!  Hopefully the snow will stay away at least until we have the yard cleaned up for winter.  I still have flowers in bloom in the front yard - Autumn has been beautiful here!!

Today I have another simple card to share with you all.  Sometimes I find simple, more easier cards a bit more gentler on my brains as our new puppy (Pixie) is still keeping me up several timers per night.  Last night at 2 AM,  she peed on a dry-clean-only bedspread.  She's definitely spunky :)

I certainly can't be mad at her:

As you can see, I am babbling, which usually means I am tired and not thinking straight.  I should definitely start drinking my extra strong coffee now :)

I was a little worried sewing on this card - I usually do zig zag stitch which hides the fact that I can't sew straight :)

Good morning everyone - I hope you have been enjoying your weekend so far. 

It's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada.  I am back to crafting but also have had time to do some relaxing.  This new puppy of ours likes to play during the night and I have had a week of sleepless nights.  Oh well - she's a cutie, I can't be mad at her!!!

Baby Baptism Dress:

Well howdy folks!!  I can't believe it's been almost a month since I left BlogLand!  We did our traveling, got home safe and sound, and got a new little puppy.  It's been a bit crazy around here, but I am back and ready to get my craft on!!
