StampFairy Challenge - White with a Color Touch

Today's Ramblings: Well it is Monday again but I am okay with that as my boss is away for a few weeks. The mice will play!!!!

It's also Valentine's Day! I've never been a big Valentine's celebrator (is that a word?). I don't where a lot of jewelry and though I do LOVE flowers, to pay 4 times the amount on this special day seems kind of silly. I would much rather get $5 daisies any other day of the year *heehee*

With that being said, I got a brand new sewing machine for Valentine's Day!! Now I can do some stitching on cards as I love the look of zigzag stitching.

I also can't wait to share an idea I have been mulling over for the past half a year. As some of you may know I give my cards away, but I also sell a fair number too to my friends and family. Soon, once I have everything in place, I will be donating $1 from each card sold to an animal charity. I am SO excited and can't wait to get it all in place. I will keep you updated :) My husband "bought" the first card so I could give it to a friend today for her birthday - so I already have $1 set aside!

Today's DT Challenge:
The new theme at StampFairy Challenge is White with a Touch of one Color. Big challenge for me - I usually do the exact opposite and have always shied away from white color challenges.

With that being said...

I used Toby {found here} for my 2nd Christmas card of 2011:

This is as simple and colorless as I get - I think it turned out pretty good!

Card Ingredients:
StampFairy image; Bazzill and Recollections cardstock; Copics; Gelly Roll white pen; Circle and Beaded Circle Nesties; Martha Stewart Crystal tinsel glitter; Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, Celebrate It ribbon; Dress It Up button; hemp twine.

I made Toby for the following challenges:

The End :)

If this card is any indication of your other cards, I think you will have lots of dollars to keep that first one company, what a lovely idea to donate it to charity!

This is so adorable - I love all the elements of it - your image and the glitter (btw, beautiful coloring), the texture, the sentiment, it all works perfectly together!
