PS - Color/White Core Cardstock

Happy Labour Day!! What a crazy, busy weekend I have had. Friday we had company, Saturday and Sunday we were out with friends, and yesterday I finished 5 cards too!! Today is cold and miserable out, a perfect day to hang out in my craft room.

Monday brings a new Practical Scrappers challenge week.

This week's challenge: Color or White Core Cardstock

Now if you (were) are like me, and have no idea what the heck I am talking about, then let me explain:

Color or white core cardstock is basically cardstock with a different colored inside. You can buy this cardstock at Michaels. I went through my stash and found something that would work. Go through yours, you probably have it your stash too!!

I am trying really hard to get up my Christmas card count. I used Bobblehead Mrs. Clause and dressed her up in cherry red and hot pink:

Again, you will see another non-traditional Christmas colored card, they make me so happy!

Here you can see the white core color coming through on the hot pink and cherry red cardstock. I gave it a light sanding to show the white. I also edge distressed the red cardstock around Mrs. Clause:

Card Ingredients:
Bugaboo image; Recollections cardstock (all colored is from my OLD stash and I don't know who makes it); Copics; Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder; KI Memories paper; Inkssentials Glossy Accents; Celebrate It Holiday ribbon; Dress It Up button; Recollections pearls; twine and sandpaper.

Thanks again for stopping by! Have a wonderful Holiday Monday!
