Velvet Bean

Alright Friday - how I love thee :) We finally don 't have many plans this weekend. I have some cards I would like to complete but other than that it is wide open! Oh and Alice In Wonderland on Sunday - can't wait!!

I think I will continue watching my Harry Potter movies. I am half way through the 2nd one. (I have been meaning to watch all the Harry Potter movies for months).

So, since it is Friday, it is Practical Scrappers day. This week our challenge for you is use either chalks or inks (any kind of inks: alcohol, dye, pigment etc). And this month our sponsor is Stamping Boutique! Our Grand Prize winner will receive 2 digital stamps of their choice.

Well there kittens, this is as creative as I get. I thought outside the box for once. This is probably one of my favorites :)

(It's okay to have your own favorites, right?)

I inked this little guy until I was blue in the face:
- the sunset look is all ink
- main image is stamped (with ink)
- inked edges
- and inked embossing

For the sunset look I used 4 different ink color pads. I used a small makeup sponge, dabbed it on the ink pad, sprayed the sponge with water and wiped a line across white cardstock.

Card Ingredients: K&Co Viola Vita paper; Bazzill and Recollections cardstock; Delta stamp; Craft Smart Black, Orange, Fuchsia, Kelly Green, and Brick Red inks; Cuttlebug Spots and Dots folder; Celebrate It ribbon; Primas; random button, gems and twine.

Happy Friday! Hope you all enjoy your weekend! See you again tomorrow.
