Broadleaf Bramble

How fun is this??? This is my first real blog hop!! That's right, it is BLOG HOP time! Wahhoooie!

I am so happy to be a part of SPCC's first ever blog hop! If you came here from Kristin's FAB blog, then you are on the right track! If you didn't, then please start at SPCC.

So on with the show...

SPCC's challenge this week is:

PLUS use something "green as in recycled".

For my recycled items, I used some old file folders and plastic packing material to make a pattern:

And this is how it turned out. I also dabbed the inked flowers in embossing ink, covered them with embossing powder, and heat embossed them to give them a bit of sparkle. Be very careful not to burn yourself. I tend to do that a lot LOL.

The "pattern paper" is the same technique, but with no embossing powder.

And the completed project:

Card Ingredients:
Bazzill cardstock; recycled file folders; Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder; EK Success fleur de lis border punch and retro flower punch; Martha Stewart frond punch; Stampendous! stamp; Craft Smart Teal and Black inks; Martha Stewart embossing ink; Stampendous! Kaleidoscope embossing powder; Celebrate It ribbon; random buttons, gems, pearls and twine.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Now please go on to Susan's blog and check out her fabulous recycled creation!!

***CLOSED***
