In a one horse open sleigh

Hello everyone! I am starting my post with a challenge and ending in some personal photos. Feel free to jump where you want to.

Tonight's challenge: Frosted Designs this week wants a project that has "same shapes in multiple sizes." You should check it out and give it a go - the possibilites are endless! {To Frosted Designs: I posted this as my 2nd entry by mistake -- this is my only entry.}

I went with something very simple, six rectangles:

Card Ingredients: American Crafts Jolly paper; The Paper Co and Recollections cardstock; studio g stamp; Stampendous! Sterling Silver embossing powder; random gems.

~~~~~~~~
And as I said before - I have personal photos. I got heck that I didn't post some Christmas decorating photos. So here they are :)
All photos were taken in the dark with only the light of the Christmas lights, a very low shutter speed and my trusty tri-pod.
My mantel penguin stocking holders:
Mr. and Mrs. Snowman, they are always so happy:
The top of my tree - you can see a bit of my angel:
An angel ornament:
And apparently I can't take a photo with the lights on LOL, very blurry, but you get the point. At this point I had been taking photos of our living room for an hour. I had made the wreath and stocking last year.
AND... I have to tell you - I am soooo upset with myself. Have you ever made like, the best card EVER and then give it away last night without taking a photo of it and planning to enter it into Get Sketchy tonight? Well I did. I am am some pi$ed at myself. That's my story :)
Thanks for sticking around during my very long post!!
Have a wonderful Tuesday evening - I will see you again tomorrow! xo
I'd love to see how you do the embossing on your cards, sometime. It's gorgeous. And your Xmas decorated living room, is breath-taking, as always. And as you know, I feel the same as your follower Sandy, wanting to curl up with a cup of coffee or Xmas punch again this year, and enjoying the view. I'm so blessed.
