Jack Frost nipping at your nose

Happy Monday All!!! Today I joined the SPCC Design Team again, even though it wasn't my scheduled week (we do bi-weekly projects). But you know, I saw the colors and couldn't pass up the opportunity to use my little red, purple, and white wooden snowman!! It was fate of some sort :)

Today's Challenge: SPCC's gorgeous color combo this week is:

And this is my version:

I flocked it up!!! Heehee - get it... flock? This is my first flock project, I think it turn out warm and fuzzy-like!

Card Ingredients: Recollections cardstock; studio g stamp; Stampin' Up Purely Pomegranate ink; Martha Stewart Swan flocking powder; random gems and wooden snowman embellie.

Happy Monday - enjoy every moment of it!! See you all tomorrow!

The first Noel

Happy Sunday - just got finished watching the Saskatchewan Roughriders lose the Grey Cup (it's a Canadian thing). Totally depressing...

Anyhoooo, let's not dwell on how terrible our football team did - let's look forward to Christmas, only 26 more days!!!!!!!!!!!! Wahoooo-ie!

I had a very busy weekend. Saturday I decorated our living room and tree -- took me about 7 hours. I "toned" it down a bit this year - last year I said it looked like Christmas threw up all over our living room LOL. Then today I spent the whole day making Christmas cards - 15 in total today! I was a real work horse this weekend.

Let's celebrate with another Christmas card:

Card Ingredients: American Crafts Jolly paper; Recollections cardstock; Recollections stamp; Stampendous! PearLustre Sapphire embossing powder; Celebrate It and Offray ribbons; random foam snowflake, button, and twine.

Hope you all had a great weekend! See you all again tomorrow xo

Down through the chimney

Happy Friday!!! Tomorrow I will be decorating our house and putting up our tree!!!!!!!! I can't friggin' WAIT!! I hope no one minds that I will posting photos of my decorations on Sunday - because I am that friggin' EXCITED that I need to share with the whole world!

No challenge again tonight - I am continuing to learn how to heat emboss:

Card Ingredients:
Recollections Basics Green Argyle paper; Recollections and The Paper Company cardstock; Inkadinkado and Recollections stamps; Stampendous! Sterling Silver embossing powder; random gems and pearls.

Happy Friday!! I hope the week treated you all well and that the weekend treats you even better!!! Thanks for all the love :)

Me, I want a hoola hoop!

Happy Thursday evening!! I hope you all enjoyed your day (and your turkey!). It is almost bed time for me, but I wanted to put in a quick post...

No challenge tonight - just me learning how to heat emboss. I love it!!! I am having so much fun doing this - granted, I am just a beginner, but I think it turned out quite well!

'Tis the season to be JOLLY

Happy November 25th - that's right, exactly one more month until.... CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! We are decorating the office tomorrow which officially starts my Christmas music playing (not me! my computer). From there on in - it's Christmas all the way! So exciting!

Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends tomorrow - I see no one has invited me down for turkey and Black Friday shopping yet. Anyone? I am a nice person and I love to eat and shop LOL!!!

Tonight's Challenge: I am doing Unscripted Sketches sketch again, just because it is a FAB sketch:

Card Ingredients: K&Co Roam paper; Recollections cardstock; K&Co Brenda Walton embellie; Celebrate It ribbon; random button, gems, and twine.

Happy Wednesday!!! See you all tomorrow - have fun eating lots of turkey... for the rest of us - have a lovely Thursday!

Hi everyone!! 'Tis Tuesday again! What a crazy day at work today, I am thankful to be home and to be able to get some crafts done tonight :)

Tonight's Challenge: I did another card for Design Dollies - you know, the "crooked" sketch :)

And mine version - this is a 5 x 4.5 card - I haven't made small cards in months - it takes some time getting used to working with a smaller canvas:

(again, I took the photo before the glue dried)

Card Ingredients: American Craft Jolly paper; Recollections cardstock; atd chipboard embellie; Celebrate It ribbon; Cuttlebug Traffic Jam folder; random button and foam snowflake.

Happy Tuesday!! See you all again tomorrow!!!!

One way or another...

Hello everyone!! This is my first submission as part of the Scrapmaster's Paradise Design Team!! This is so exciting for me! Thanks for giving me this opportunity Sami! {xoxo} Please remember to go check out the very talented DT and all the other participants!

This week's sponsor is Memories Forever Scrapbooking - check out what YOU could win!

These colors were perfect for a masculine birthday card that I had to make. Such a challenge though, as I have such a hard time with masculine cards in general. If you follow my blog, you will know that I am a avid user of ribbon, buttons, and gems. Which most men don't appreciate ;)

SPCC #25:

And my version, everything got a sanding after being embossed:

Card Ingredients: K&Co Classic K paper; Recollections cardstock; Cricut Winter Wonderland; Cuttlebug Traffic Jam embossing folder; Making Memories brads; Craftsmart Black ink; dollar bin stamp and sandpaper.

Happy Monday everyone!! 'Tis the last full week of November then it is my FAVORITE month - DECEMBER!!!

Be Merry and Bright

Happy Sunday evening everyone! I do hope you all were able to enjoy your weekend. We had plans to put up the outdoor Christmas lights but I got too busy making cards. Next weekend is Christmas tree weekend, so we will definitely put up the outdoor lights - gotta have the total package!

Tonight's Challenge: This is my first time entering a project at Design Dollies. They looks like a great bunch of gals over there and I hope to return often :)

I have to say that I shy away COMPLETELY by things that are "crooked," so this was a pretty big challenge for me (do you see where I am talking about?):

In the end, I am quite happy with the crookedness :)

The glue hasn't dried yet :)

Card Ingredients: American Crafts Jolly paper; Recollections cardstock; atd embellie; Cuttlebug D'vine Swirls folder; Celebrate It ribbon; random button.

Happy Sunday - see you tomorrow :) xoxo
