Gem{s} is Truly Outrageous

The wonderful crafty crowd over at The Pink Elephant is on to challenge #30. The recipe this challenge is:

1 ribbon, 2 squares, and something that sparkles

Recipe challenges are really fun as you get to use your imagination that much more! Plus I love sparkly things - so I had to give it a try!!

Details:

Card Ingredients: K&Company Faded China (Amy Bulter) paper; Recollections cardstock; me & my BIG ideas gems and "Create" embellishment; the yellow ribbon is from a garage sale :)

Happy Friday to all!! It is Labor Day on Monday - I LOVE long weekends - like really LOVE them!

Thank you so much for your encouraging comments on my blog. I looooove twine and found a great stash of it a Value Village (it must've been from a factory of some sort 'cause it was big spools of it). Send me your address and I would love to send you some! christina_vassallo@hotmail.com

Thanks again for stopping by and being so sweet!

Your take on the challenges are absolutely amazing and stunning. The color and the shape of the bow that you created, is gorgeous. And the pink gemstones on the doily-like pattern, 'pop' beautifully. BTW, do you sell your cards that you enter into the challenges? If so, that would be great, as you could increase your scrapbooking budget those months. You are remarkably gifted and talented, and it's a joy to view your blog.

I can't believe you make such wonderful and creative layouts with such a tight budget, great for you.
Sometime I could send you some paper, I used to work for a printer and have some extra laying around if you would be interested!
It's all just plain paper, but solids are necessary too, right???
Let me know.
What stunning card......gorgeous..... I will be "following" you .....need to see more creations.
