Fresh

I know Spring is on it's way when you can purchase tulips at our local shops. Fresh flowers just put a smile on my face, too bad I didn't have them in the house everyday. I should really plant some in our front garden in the spring and maybe next year I will have tulips growing.

Lynne said; The tulips that Derek and Deanne so kindly gave me, were gorgeous. They drank water like crazy, opened by day and closed by night, lasting for a week on the fireplace mantel in our cool temp. condo. The purplish color of the flowers was sooooooo pretty. I've also enjoyed a bouquet of daffodils this week, thanks to a co-worker. Flowers are my most favorite thing, then chocolate.
